18.01.2022 Please help! Lulu went missing in February 2018 from Lane Cove North (near Mowbray Rd & Pacific Highway intersection, just south of Chatswood). She is a sweet, ...affectionate girl, and is hugely missed by us and her kitty sister Annie. Lulu is black on the top half of her body and white on the bottom, with a pink nose, white chin, and all white feet. She is short haired, desexed, microchipped, and was not wearing a collar when she escaped. She is about 4kg (small), and is likely to be scared/wary. She is very friendly if she decides to trust you. How to help 1. Share this post and like Lulu is Missing - Lost Cat in Lane Cove North 2. If you live in the area, please check garages, storage units, other places she could have gotten into and hidden or become trapped. 3. If you know someone in the area who feeds cats or has cat food outdoors, please let us know (or make an introduction) as this might be an area that Lulu is frequenting. (We are already aware of the strays in the Frank Chaddon Walk area.) Thank you! Joni & Luke

12.01.2022 Does your cat scratch the sofa and not their scratching post? While scratching is a natural behaviour in cats, mainly to mark their territory and keep their nai...ls trim, it can be frustrating if your cat chooses to scratch everywhere but the scratching post. Cats have scent glands in the pads of their feet. Every time they scratch the furniture it leaves a smell, undetectable to the human nose, that lets other animals know they have been there. Contrary to popular belief, cats are not sharpening their claws when they scratch the scratching helps to break away any dead nail that may be loose. Feliscratch is a great new product by Feliway which works to redirect cat scratching away from your sofa and on to their scratching post. Save your sofa before it’s shredded, Feliscratch is now available at our Adoption Centre, 103 Enmore Road, Newtown, come in and pick up a packet today! See more

11.01.2022 We wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to the ACT Government for making Greyhound Racing illegal in Canberra! To the beautiful souls who passed-away or were ...euthanised after injuring themselves in a race, we're sorry the ban didn't happen sooner. Keep your voices loud, and the rest of Australia will follow! #BeTheirVoice #BanGreyhoundRacing #PetsNotBets
