25.01.2022 Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a female wanted on an outstanding warrant. Elyce VALERO, aged 22, is wanted by virtue of an outstanding warrant. Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command commenced inquiries into her whereabouts and are now appealing for public assistance to locate her. The female is described as Caucasian, 22 years of age, medium build, olive skin, about 160cm tall with brown/red hair. 21.01.2022 Two men and a woman will face Court today following the stabbing of a man at Pyrmont carpark on Wednesday. About 9.00pm on Wednesday 25 November 2020, emergency services were called to a car park on Harwood Lane, Pyrmont, following reports a man had been assaulted. Officers found a 37-year-old man with stab wound to his right shoulder. He was treated at the scene by ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.... A crime scene was established and detectives from Sydney City Police Area Command commenced an investigation into the circumstances of the attack. Following inquiries, investigators went to a residential unit at Chiswick yesterday (Thursday 26 November 2020) and arrested a 32-year-old woman and two men aged 33 and 34. The three were taken to Burwood Police Station and each charged with robbery whilst armed with an offensive weapon cause wounding/grievous bodily harm. All three were refused bail and will appear before Burwood Local Court today (Friday 27 November 2020). 19.01.2022 This week A/Supt Dunstan speaks with our special guest, Briony Akle, Head Coach of the NSW Swifts for an end of season wrap up after a difficult 2020 season, as well as what is in stall for the 2021 season for the NSW Swifts. Mr Dunstan also provides an update on the week in the Sydney City Police Area Command. There was great news with a motorised scooter being returned to an elderly man in Pyrmont after having it stolen earlier in the week. Mr Dunstan also speaks about th...e alfresco dining pilot which starts tonight in The Rocks and Sydney CBD area, he encourages people to come into the city and enjoy the number of venues which now have extended outdoor drinking and dining areas. Mr Wood will return as the Commander of the PAC next week, thank you to Mr Dunstan for relieving in the role of Superintendent while Mr Wood has been away relieving at the region HR Command.

It was stolen from Ultimo between 2.30pm and 4.30pm on Sunday (8 November 2020), when its 82-year-old male ow...ner parked it outside his home on Macarthur Street. After it was discovered that the red mobility scooter was missing, the owner notified officers from Sydney City Police Area Command, who commenced an investigation. As inquiries continue, investigators have released CCTV vision of a man who may be able to assist them. The man depicted is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of slim build and wearing a white jumper, long blue pants, white sneakers and a motocross helmet. 15.01.2022 Police from Sydney City Police Area Command are appealing for help to locate a man last seen in the Sydney CBD. Nico Sandaga, aged 21, left his home at Marsden Park in Sydney’s west about 3.00pm yesterday (Wednesday 25 November 2020), telling family he was going to The Ponds. When he failed to return home last night, he was reported missing to Quakers Hill Police.... About 4.00pm today (Thursday 26 November 2020), officers from Sydney City Police Area Command attended a hotel in Campbell Street, Sydney in the hope of locating Nico; unfortunately, he had already left. More than 24 hours have passed, and Nico has not been sighted, and police inquiries so far have been unable to locate him. Police have released images and a description of Nico and are appealing to the public to help locate him. Nico is described as being Torres Strait Islander in appearance, 175-180cm tall, medium build, medium complexion, with black hair and brown-coloured eyes. 13.01.2022 Residents across New South Wales are urged to monitor weather reports and health advice as the state is expected to experience heatwave conditions in the coming days. The Bureau of Meteorology warns temperatures are generally expected to increase over the weekend. As the weather heats up, motorists are also reminded it’s not only an offence for children or pets to be left unattended in a vehicle, it can be deadly.... Everyone needs to take care in hot weather, but some people are at higher risk of heat illness, especially if they are older, live alone or are socially-isolated. Remember to; Stay well-hydrated Avoid alcohol and hot or sugary drinks Limit your physical activity Try to stay out of the sun during the hottest part of the day Wear light, loose-fitting clothing made from natural fibres like cotton Regularly check your forecasts from the Bureau of Meteorology on radio, TV, internet or App Get advice from your doctor about whether your medication and/or your medical conditions may affect what you should do if it gets extremely hot Make sure you know who you are going to call (who may need help, and who could provide help to you if needed); make a list of telephone numbers and make sure they are current. 12.01.2022 A man has been charged after a firearm and ammunition were found during a vehicle search in the state’s north west yesterday. About 10.30am (Tuesday 12 January ...2021), officers from Oxley Police District were conducting proactive patrols when they stopped a vehicle on the Kamilaroi Highway, Narrabri. Officers spoke with the driver, a 53-year-old man, and subjected him to a roadside drug test which proved positive. The man’s vehicle was searched with police seizing a firearm and more than 350 rounds of ammunition. He was arrested and taken to Narrabri Police Station where he was charged with Possess unauthorised firearm Possess unregistered firearm Possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority Acquire firearm subject to prohibition order, and Acquire ammunition subject to prohibition order. The man was refused bail and is due to appear in Moree Local Court today (Wednesday 13 January 2021). Further charges are dependent on the outcome of the roadside drug test.

12.01.2022 Police have charged seven people and issued more than 25 infringements as part of a high-visibility operation targeting anti-social behaviour in Parramatta. Off...icers from Parramatta Police Area Command, assisted by North West Metropolitan Region Operations Support Group, the Dog Unit, Strike Force Raptor and the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command conducted the two-day operation to prevent, disrupt and respond to alcohol and drug-related crime across the Parramatta CBD, including serviced apartment complexes. During the operation on Friday (16 October 2020) and yesterday (Saturday 17 October 2020), police issued 26 infringements notices and charged seven people with offences including affray, drink-driving, custody of knife in a public place and breach of bail. More than 1,220 roadside breath tests and 24 roadside drug tests were conducted, with seven defect notices issued. In addition, more than 125 people and more than 30 vehicles were searched. Incidents of note include: - About 7pm on Friday (16 October 2020), police were patrolling when they observed a 34-year-old man. Checks revealed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant and he was arrested. He was taken to Parramatta Police Station where the warrant was executed for an affray incident. He was granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday 25 November 2020. - About 7.30pm on Friday, the driver of a Honda Accord, a 31-year-old woman, was stopped on Dirrabarri Lane. She was subjected to a random breath test which returned a negative result. During a search of the vehicle, police located a knife on the dashboard. It was seized and the woman will be issued with an infringement notice. - About 9.40pm on Friday, police stopped a 49-year-old man on Dirrabarri Lane. During a search of the man, officers located a stolen driver licence. He was arrested and taken to Parramatta Police Station where he was charged with goods in personal custody suspected being stolen and breach of bail. He was granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Thursday 19 November 2020. - About 12.30am yesterday (Saturday 17 October 2020), police stopped a vehicle on Dirrabarri Lane for the purpose of a random breath test. The driver, a 29-year-old man, allegedly returned a positive result. He was arrested and taken to Parramatta Police Station where a breath analysis returned an alleged reading of 0.165. He was issued a Court Attendance Notice for drive with high range PCA. He is due to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday 25 November 2020. - About 9pm yesterday, a 25-year-old man was issued with a Criminal Infringement Notice for offensive conduct following a brawl involving a group of males on Dirrabarri Lane. Police will allege the man became aggressive and yelled at officers when they intervened. - About 9.50pm yesterday, a group of people exited a minibus on Dirrabarri Lane, before two males became involved in a physical altercation. Police intervened and arrested a 27-year-old man. He was taken to Parramatta Police Station where he was charged with affray. He was granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday 25 November 2020. Parramatta Police Area Commander, Superintendent Julie Boon, said the community can expect to see high-visibility police deployments across Parramatta to increase public safety. We have seen more incidents of anti-social behaviour in recent months and we want people to be able to feel safe and not have to worry about street-level crime in the neighbourhood, Supt Boon said. Parramatta is a vibrant community and operations like this put police on the front foot to prevent crimes occurring. The results demonstrate a significant disruption to local crime in the area and we will continue to work in collaboration with our specialist units in an effort to decrease anti-social behaviour and drug and alcohol-related violence. 07.01.2022 Police have released CCTV images and are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in the Sydney’s CBD last month. About 9:45am on Thursday 22 ...October 2020, a man entered a licensed premises on George Street, Sydney, and produced a knife, threatening a 36-year-old male employee. Police have been told the man stole a sum of cash before fleeing. The employee was not physically injured and notified police. Officers attached to the Sydney City Police Area Command attended and commenced an investigation. As inquires continue, investigators have released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist. The man depicted is described as being of South American appearance, about 165 - 170 cm tall, aged in his 30s, of medium build, with a dark-haired moustache and goatee. He is shown wearing a long sleeved light blue shirt, denim jeans, sneakers, a white cap, and is carrying a red bag.
