25.01.2022 Tony's looking to kill the federal government incentives for rooftop solar - worth thousands off the upfront price of a solar system. So now's a good time to go solar! http://reneweconomy.com.au//abbott-may-cut-rooftop-solar-n

24.01.2022 This Valentine's Day, ask your local MP to show some love to renewable energy. The OFarrell government is stuck in a dysfunctional relationship with the coal a...nd gas industry. Prioritising coal and gas over renewable energy sources is stymieing jobs growth, producing dangerous levels of greenhouse gas emissions and impacting on the health of local communities. Despite the clear advantages of clean energy technologies the OFarrell government is continuing with their business-as-usual, fossil fuel approach to energy generation. We need your help this February 14 to spread the message to MPs around the state that clean energy technologies are a great match for NSW. Transitioning to wind, solar and other clean energy sources can reduce carbon emissions, create jobs and foster healthy communities. Whats not to love? We have produced a novelty sized Be My Future Valentines Day card for members to sign and deliver to their local members on Friday 14 February. John will be joining the Maitland local Greens group to deliver a copy of the card to local MP and Environment Minister Robyn Parker. It would make a big impact if activists from around the state could gather some signatures and take a Be my future card to their MP. If you would like a copy of the card please contact the office on [email protected] or Ph: 029230 2668 and we will post one out to you. Alternatively you can download a copy of the card from John's website:http://johnkaye.org.au/this-valentines-day-ask-your-local-/ With your help, we can kick start the transition to a jobs-rich, low-carbon 100% Renewable NSW. 15.01.2022 An ethical investment in Sydney rooftop solar far outstrips other investments, including property and shares http://reneweconomy.com.au//graph-day-solar-returns-versus

12.01.2022 "Households, on the other hand, are discovering rooftop solar can generate and deliver electricity for around half the price of grid electricity. The move to time of use pricing, higher connection prices and other tariff changes in the pipeline is simply providing an additional economic incentive to install more solar, and to consider the addition battery storage. Can I get off the grid is becoming a much more common question of solar installers.

12.01.2022 Nice work Denmark!

11.01.2022 "So, what can we take away from the performance of the National Electricity Market last week? When we become completely reliant on fossil fuel generators, we experience higher wholesale electricity prices. When we become completely reliant on fossil fuel generators, we experience significantly higher levels of volatility in the electricity market."

10.01.2022 Beautiful bridge!

07.01.2022 We have more of these solid wood storage crates available, previously used by a museum, excellent for secured storage (allen key or screws shut) other customers... have even repurposed these as coffee tables and bed heads where you can secretly store things. Prices range depending on sizes, but on average they are $30 to $60 at the moment! See more

06.01.2022 In Australia too

02.01.2022 Why are big, old trees essential in the fight against climate change? It turns out they suck in much more carbon than younger trees, which is used to grow its leaves, wood and roots. More info: http://grist.org//older-trees-best-at-fighting-climate-ch/

01.01.2022 Sydney Morning Herald (http://ow.ly/trqPB): "Solar and wind energy projects worth up to $18 billion are being paralysed by uncertainty over the governments commitment to the industry, as speculation grows that the clean energy target for 2020 will be cut back."
