25.01.2022 Some jobs are really easy for our crews to attend. They don’t get much easier to find than this one at Macquarie Fields Fire Station 084 earlier today https://www.facebook.com/1571962469699351/posts/2849914018570850/

24.01.2022 If there is Fire in your House or the Building you are in, you should get out and stay out. It’s not worth risking your life to go back in.

24.01.2022 Great advice from our Crews at Fire and Rescue NSW Station 027 Parramatta https://www.facebook.com/222515581861500/posts/621826778597043/?d=n

22.01.2022 Yesterday the #Federal Ministger for #Communications Paul Fletcher launched Advanced Mobile Location (#AML) at Sydney Fire Communications - Fire Rescue NSW - 801 Station. Along with representatives from NSW Police Force, NSW Ambulance, other #Emergency Services and #Telco Providers Fire and Rescue NSW helped develop the technology to help locate Triple Zero callers when they need assistance. ... The new technology will allow Call Takers to pin point the callers location on their mapping to within metres. This helps reduce response times of emergency services and helps the public receive the help they need quicker. This new technology is another tool in the tool box, it is not a replacement for having awareness as to your location. When calling Triple Zero (000) callers need to try to remain calm and answer the questions asked by the call taker. Telstra Optus TPG ESTA 000 #PreparedforAnything #TripleZero #FRNSW #Triple000

22.01.2022 Today, Fire and Rescue NSW and the national Triple Zero Awareness Work Group is launching the improved Emergency Plus app. The Emergency Plus app is a free, life-saving tool to help people call the right number and be found easily in an emergency, anywhere in Australia. One of the new features within the app, is the addition of what3words. what3words has divided the world into 3 metre squares and given each one a unique three word identifier. It means any precise location c...an be communicated with just three words. With what3words now available within the Emergency Plus app, callers can now describe their exact location in an emergency, quickly and easily, with just three words. Help Triple Zero Find You | Being able to give your precise location in an emergency can save vital time and lives. Make sure you’re prepared this summer by downloading the free emergencyplus app built-in, so you can #HelpTripleZeroFindYou with just three words. You can find your what3word address by downloading the EmergencyPlus app in the App Store or Google Play store - your what3words address will be displayed in the bottom left hand corner
