17.01.2022 One of the highlights of our recent skid pan event was the dedicated Juniors course. A handful of juniors also got to drive the SDC club car, with all entry costs subsidised by the club. Thanks to Confederation of Australian Motor Sport - CAMS for the Come & Try initiative, introducing new drivers, including juniors, into the exciting world of motorsport.

11.01.2022 Today Paul Toole, Minister for Regional Transport and Roads, officially announced that the 60-day log book will now be permanently available to both the Histori...c Vehicle Scheme and the Classic Vehicle Scheme. Details are still to be worked through with RMS. The photo shows the Minister with ACMC President Tony ODonnell at lunch with members of the Thoroughbred Sporting Car Club.

04.01.2022 There has been an outpour of community support and giving during these devastating bushfires, Australia has really come together in such terrible times and it i...s great to see! We would like to do our bit and raise awareness of the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife. They are running an emergency appeal to raise funds for dedicated rescue groups and animal hospitals who volunteer their time saving and rehabilitating the hundreds of birds and animals impacted by the bushfire crisis. It is quite the task, and they need all the help they can get. So please, if you can spare a few bucks, throw it their way and help get our injured wildlife through this disaster too. 02.01.2022 Event Modified. Pioneer Village has advised that they will be closed this weekend due to government imposed COVID-19 restrictions. At this point in time we will postpone the observation run but at this stage will still continue on with a social cruise from the planned starting point.

02.01.2022 Philip Vassallo, 17 Years Old, R.I.P. 11/07/14 in Penrith Phil, also known as the Kid in the Blue Datto, was loud, funny, talkative and caring and is remembe...red for his contagious laugh.
