22.05.2022 The Enhanced Endodontics course ran today at ADA NSW Centre for Professional Development with Drs Geoff Young & Harry Mohan. Participants gained hands-on experience and confidence in use of heat-treated martensite files and matched warm GP obturation. 20.04.2022 Today we filmed a live patient demonstration of an MTA apexification procedure for the Mini-Residency in Endodontics course at ADA NSW Centre for Professional Development. Very impressed with the light intensity and ergonomic functions of the Zeiss Extaro microscope. Big thank you to my amazing assistant Rain, our wonderful patient, and the expert CPD support team Queenie, Simon, and Hayley.

08.04.2022 The Enhanced Endodontics program ran successfully last Friday at full capacity dictated by COVID-19 protocols. It was great to return to face-to-face teaching again, and I always enjoy picking up a few new tips from my co-presenter Dr Harry Mohan.

05.01.2022 Dear Colleagues, Yesterday the Australian Dental Association (NSW Branch) advised members to minimise provision of routine dental treatment until 30 April 2020. This recommendation was made in order to, (i) help prevent further spread of COVID-19, and, (ii) assist in conserving PPE supplies which will be required to protect frontline workers in hospitals managing COVID-19 patients. In line with this advice, Sydney Endodontic Centre will temporarily postpone all routine (non-u...rgent) care until 30 April 2020. Patients who fit this category with existing appointments will be contacted to have their appointments rescheduled. Concurrently, as endodontists, we recognise our duty to provide care for urgent and emergency dental conditions. This is important not only to assist you in ensuring your patients receive the urgent care they require, but also to alleviate the burden that dental emergencies would place on hospital emergency departments. In line with this, Sydney Endodontic Centre will continue to treat patients who have urgent and emergency endodontic conditions. Treatment will be provided with strict adherence to ADA Guidelines in terms of additional infection control precautions. For clarity on what constitutes an urgent or emergency condition, please refer to the guideline document attached below. Our reception staff shall be triaging patients by these definitions. This essentially constitutes managing significant dental pain, acute infection, and significant dental trauma involving pulp exposure, luxation or avulsion. Please contact us if you have any questions. Please be reassured that we are here to support you during this difficult time. Our practice shall remain open, and our Endodontists shall remain available to assist with your enquiries. The situation is fluid, and we shall update you immediately with any changes to this advice.
