11.01.2022 For those of you who love tying Enrico Puglisis revolutionary Flex Calamari heres some things Ive found helpful. Firstly, and obviously, brush is king!!! Tyi...ng with brush is just too easy and versatile and I mostly think EP brush is the best. Secondly, using tubing to make the tentacles overhang the hook bend is , in my opinion, an asset. Without this, the flies can be prone to fouling, even one wrapped tentacle will prevent a bite Thirdly, tie every colour you can think of, fish dont see like we do! See more

05.01.2022 You can go to a great fishing destination, without a good guide you can still be on struggle street. Despite strong winds(25-30knots) and some cloud, the guides... on Waterline charters were top notch at spotting and working the boats to maximise our chances. I managed 5 permit from seven hook-ups during the two days we fished the North Wessel flats. Lee Younan-Wise pictured here was exceptional. This day Lee spotted a large tailing Permit and worked his magic to put the fish in range. Hooking that fish was unforgettable despite the hook falling out, it was a big fish! Thanks Lee.
