21.01.2022 One of our greatest joys is introducing young people to gliding and flying. We regularly organise school groups and this photo is of a group of school kids from Hong Kong. Gliding can become a lifelong hobby and some of our younger members pursue aviation careers and gliding is an excellent start. One of our recent student members was accepted into Cathay Pacific's cadet program with training in Adelaide to start his career as an airline pilot.

17.01.2022 We flew 2 motor gliders to Bathurst recently as a navigation training exercise. Great fun and great views over the Blue Mountains and Western Slopes.

14.01.2022 We are tentatively working out how we can safely get back to flying with student pilots and air experience flights. Our instructors have been staying in practice with solo flying and we have done plenty of maintenance over the past month. We are ready and keen to get going again but realise we must do it carefully. Stay tuned for more info!

09.01.2022 World heritage views - The Blue Mountains offers some spectacular scenery just to the west of Camden. It is a great gift idea and we can provide a gift voucher. You can then give the certificate as a very special present.

05.01.2022 One of the best things about motor gliders is that you can go touring and gliding anywhere. You can turn the engine off, ride the thermals and then turn it back on if you need it to head to your next destination. We can do navigation training on trips away. A fantastic way to gain your pilot qualifications whilst having a great adventure! These photos were taken in Longreach Queensland and Arkaroola South Australia by our Chief Flying Instructor Laurie on some previous trips.
