(28th Sept) Sydney Harmony is organising an impromptu concert featuring local quartets and choruses performing before Signature wow us with their set. 16.01.2022 It was sad to hear yesterday that Lisa Schouw has passed away. Lisa played a significant role as Sydney Harmony's performance coach and choreographer in our early years. Most notably she instilled a distinctly theatrical edge to our contest performances for the 2003 and 2005 BHA National Conventions. Lisa was an accomplished musician, dancer, actor and writer. As lead singer of the successful '90s pop outfit Girl Overboard she gained national fame and a couple of ARIA nominations. Later in her career, Lisa was acclaimed for her mesmerising performance of "The Other Woman", her one-woman tribute to Nina Simone.
