25.01.2022 Young Riders are you ready for Term Four? Aimed at school aged children. Entry by Assessment lesson to see if you're ready to join. Need to be established in walk and trot, working on canter. 2-5pm Sundays, with possibility of 2-5pm Saturday. $990 for 9 weeks. Starts weekend 17/18 October. Located North Richmond. 20.01.2022 We're sorry to say that our friend Bambi was put to sleep last night, at Yass where he'd been on a long break. He was a grumpy and brilliant pony, giving lots of children a great start and showing lots of other equines his heels. :) Bambi belonged to the Clark family who loaned him to us - our condolences to them. Lauren Koch, who was looking after him, wrote a lovely post and I've reproduced it here: ... It is with great sadness that we said goodbye to our Ginger Ninja, Bambi, this evening. Everyone knew Bambi as the cheeky pony who hung out by the stables begging for food, pats and attention, teasing the dogs and chickens and falling in love with every mare that passed by. He will be greatly missed by us all, but especially Kathleen and all the kids at Sydney Horse. We send our sincerest condolences to you all. He was surrounded with love at the end and was treated with dignity and respect. He will be greatly missed by us all here. Vale Bambi See more

20.01.2022 School Holiday camps are almost here! Join us at North Richmond, 9am - 4pm from September 28 - October 9. Suitable for school aged children, two riding sessions per day including a riding lesson with a nationally qualified coach. Lots of fun learning to look after our lovely horses. Suitable for beginners, as well as experienced riders. Class sizes small and tailored to ability. Children supervised at all times by experienced staff. Fruit and bottled water provided. 17.01.2022 Vale Kofi, laid to rest at Cootamundra on 3 August, 2020. The cleverest and most gentle of dogs, Kofi was at home in the city and the country, turning his paw to lots of jobs during his life. He most recently took to the roles of farm dog and front of house here at North Richmond and was splendid at both. A loving, much loved, member of our family.

13.01.2022 CAMP DAYS AVAILABLE 15-18 December, at our beautiful North Richmond property. Kids can come for one, two, three or four days. Each day runs from 9am to 4pm and includes two riding sessions plus lots of horse care, all in well-supervised small groups. We provide riding boots and helmets, fruit and bottled water. Children bring their lunch, sunhats and sunscreen. $225 per day, $600 for three days and $750 for four. Drop your kids off and explore what's nearby: Bilpin, beautiful Kurrajong village, Mt Tomah Botanical Gardens or venture further afield to the Norman Lindsey Gallery at Faulconbridge.
