18.01.2022 Today’s All on 4 patient had his remaining diseased teeth removed, bone reshaped and gums recontoured to receive four implants in the maxilla and four implants in the mandible while he was asleep under sedation. He will have his provisional teeth screwed in tomorrow and after four months of osseontegration will upgrade to his permanent titanium reinforced teeth. We are so happy that we could provide such a life changing procedure for our patient in just 3hrs! 05.01.2022 Have you been told you don’t have enough bone for an implant? In the posterior upper jaw, it is not uncommon to have less than ideal bone height for implant placement. We overcome this challenge by a technique called a sinus lift. Relatively easy and painless, we lift the floor of the sinus (orange outline ), push the membrane lining upwards by adding a bone substitute (blue arrow). The implant is then inserted, gaining up to 6 mm of extra bone.
