22.01.2022 This Sunday, with the winter grading, UTS Jitsu as reached a number of milestones worth mentioning! I am very proud and humbled of what we were able to built si...nce we started sessions in the park 4 years ago. First, I would like thank Sensei Jason Hime for running the grading and Sensei Doug Austing for being present on the grading panel. Neither of them live close to the dojo and we thank them for their time, expertise and guidance! Thank you to Sensei Simon Brooks for coming and assisting with teaching and uke-ing at the club for several weeks now. Here are some of the milestones we achieved, in no particular order: - Bringing 20+ students to the grading (from 7 to 21) - Franck/UTS/Sydney 's first homegrown from scratch dark blue belt - We now have more than 20 grades at the club thanks to a 100% pass - Highest number of Shorinji Kan Jiu-Jitsu instructors on the mat that I have ever seen (in Oz)!
