25.01.2022 10yrs ago today the Sydney Karate Club Little Ninjas gave the guys from the TV show Hi5 some help filming their Fit-bit-tips.

25.01.2022 We have just had over 30 kids join our first two online classes it's great to see everyone is still so engaged. A big thank you to all the mums and dads who are making it possible. I'm looking forward to seeing all the kids again on Thursday for our next online lessons. - Jonathan

24.01.2022 We are receiving a growing number of questions about COVID19 at the club. Firstly I want to let everyone know that we are still OPEN!, and we will stay open unless instructed to close by the Government. The current advice however is "keeping fit is still important" and that going to the Gym, or the karate club, is ok. I see lots of comments from other gyms and martial arts clubs about how they now clean their club. We have always cleaned the club and all the equipment after e...very class and extensively once a week. We have started conducting our extensive clean every day, before and after classes. We have also placed a number of hand sanitiser stations around the club for all to use. We will be stopping the use of shared equipment in our classes, some of the teen and adult students borrow a head gear or gloves, these have all been removed from the club now. We have always encouraged you to buy your own and now is as good a time as any talk to an instructor. The vast majority of our training particularly in our childrens classes is non contact, we are currently reviewing what we can do to increase the distancing between our members during classes without compromising the quality of our classes. Im frequently asked questions about putting membership on hold, our policy is to only hold a membership for a 1 month period, we are happy to put your membership on hold at your request for 1 month. However we do not recommend canceling your membership as we have a growing waiting list of new students and you may lose your place. Additionally we are looking at the opportunity to deliver classes online and will provide that option if and when it becomes necessary to any active members only. This year is going to be so much better then last year. It's going to be a big year for the Club lots of great stuff in the plans, everyone is going to have to come to class to see just how great it is After all this year is 30 years for me studying Karate! Think it was maybe August I started, Can you remember Peter Kirkwood, but still 30years this year its crazy I cannot actually remember not doing Karate. Might be time to grade to 6th dan and Sydney Karate Club is 19yrs old, Olivia Liu yes it's been nearly 2 decades so however awesome this year is next year has to be bigger to celebrate 20years of Sydney Karate Club
