25.01.2022 UPDATE: Dear Fellow Kenshi, we hope that you are all well and keen to restart face to face kendo in your respective clubs in July. Following the AKR recommendation which strongly discourage inter-club practice, we will have to postpone the restart of Monday Night Keiko until a later date, probably August if the healthcare situation evolve as planed. Anyhow will keep you updated as things changes. In the meantime, take care, stay safe and we will see you all very soon for some great Monday Night Keiko !!

24.01.2022 Just a reminder that tonight and until July 26, we will be training at StAlbans Anglican Church Hall , 171 Great Northern Road Five Dock. Training will start at 8:00PM.

24.01.2022 Dear Friends just a reminder that for insurance purposes, every player on Monday Night practice needs to be registered with the NSWKA ( paid his/her membership fee for the current year) or another kendo association affiliated with either the Australian Kendo Renmei or the International Kendo Federation. We have to be extremely strict on this so no license, no play. Thanks for your understanding.

19.01.2022 Eiga Sensei Hachidan grading test. Enjoy !! and good luck to everyone grading at the next AKC

18.01.2022 Hello Everyone, despite my strong belief that Kendo is very beneficial for your immune system as it decreases stress levels and eliminate other immuno-suppressors, to comply with NSWKA recommendations to limit inter-club practice, we will close Monday Night practice until further notice. Stay safe and healthy and see you soon for some more Bikram Kendo at Haberfield

14.01.2022 Dear Friends, from next Monday 23d of September, will be training back in Haberfield @ St Ostwald 10 Dickson street from 7:30 to 8:30 !!! Pleas pass the message to people who might be interested.

14.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who came on Monday for the first circle of the year! Just a reminder that everyone is welcome to join us. If you are aspiring to represent NSW at the next Australian championship why not try your kendo in the Haberfield pressure cooker . If you traveling from interstate or overseas and you are in Sydney on Monday night, please contact us.

12.01.2022 Hello Everyone. Beginning of the financial year means payment of the yearly contributions. We pay around $500/quarter at the moment so would need 13 people to contribute $150 to cover the costs of renting the hall . Off course if we get more this means everybody's contribution goes down. 2h of top quality Kendo are still cheaper than 1 beer at the pub!! PLEASE CONTACT ME VIA PM TO ARRANGE PAYMENT. CHRIS

10.01.2022 Hello Everyone, Last training of the year is next Monday 21st of December. The first training in the new year will be on Monday 11th of January. Have a Merry Xmas and hope to see the tip of your shinai in the new year.

09.01.2022 Dear All, Sasaki Sensei who was suppose to train with us tonight could not leave Japan and so it will be our usual training tonight. Apologies for the late notice but just got informed of this this morning. Anyhow hope to see you all tonight.

08.01.2022 Dear members of the Monday Night Ring, just a reminder that the hall needs to be paid at the end of the quarter and thus don't forget to feed the pig. To makes things easy I have setup a bank account for the Hall rental so if you train regularly the price is 150$/year (pretty cheap compare to one month Gym membership). Please PM me and I will give you the bank details. If you come occasionally please put 3 dollars in the pig each time you come and train. One hour of keiko is still cheaper than the beer after ;)

07.01.2022 A reminder that tonight we are back at Haberfield from 7:30-8:30PM. Can’t wait to see the renovated Dojo !!

06.01.2022 Hi everyone, we should have, weather permitting, an honored guest from Japan this Monday at training so hope you can make it for Hanshi-keiko. Door will open at 7:00 and Keiko will start at 7:30.

03.01.2022 Dear Friends, sorry for the last minute notice but there will NOT be any training tonight. The good news will be that we will be training next Monday 6th of January. Please come along to celebrate the new year.
