The Urasli family are raising public awareness and funds for organ donation at Westmead Childrens Hospital. Waterview Café In Bicentennial Park presents the inaugural annual Community Fun Day in Sydney Olympic Park. Launching tomorrow, Sunday the 1st of October, from 9am-4pm, guests will be treated to LIVE music including acclaimed world music act Shohrat Tursun Trio, DJ Kick, Poppy The Possum (10am, special launch appearance for 0-5 year olds...), MC/Host Veronica Clavijo, Kids zone plus community acts, a large Village Green playground and other suprises throughout the day which coincides with the NRL Grand Final and October Long Weekend. 05.01.2022 Baylink Shuttle trial Community Update 10 April 2018 The trial of the Baylink Shuttle has seen around 120,000 passengers use the service in just 10 weeks. The... free service is currently operating with two buses - funded by Billbergia, as part of a larger proposal for the last stage of Billbergias waterfront development on Burroway Road at Wentworth Point. The long-term future of the Baylink Shuttle service is currently under discussion with City of Parramatta Council, with the trial due to finish at the end of April 2018. An update about the ongoing operation of the service will be provided once discussions with Council have progressed. The Baylink Shuttle trial has been operating to assess whether it helps to reduce private car use, and encourage greater use of regular, reliable public transport. As part of a review of the trial, Billbergia has commissioned a survey to help understand how people travel to and from Wentworth Point for work, and whether continuing the Baylink Shuttle will help move more people onto public transport. If you see survey staff on site over the next few days, please take a moment to provide your responses. Alternatively you can take the survey (link below).
