19.01.2022 Yes, financial service workers can propagate herbs!! At least these guys at Zurich Financial Services Australia can! Part of Zurich’s ‘MindFit week’ staff enjoyed the aromas of lavender, rosemary and mint while learning new skills and de-stressing. @ North Sydney

19.01.2022 Love this community garden in Sydney’s inner west- Whites Creek Valley Park. The space has a great feel - ordered diversity, productive and well managed. Beautiful!!

18.01.2022 I was just about to wipe the aphids off these almond leaves when I noticed a frenzy of activity. Ladybugs breeding and feasting on aphids, and even an Aphidius Wasp looking for aphids to lay her eggs into. I reckon by next week the aphids will be gone @ Randwick, New South Wales, Australia

17.01.2022 3 years old, the pergola at Whites Creek Food Forest at Leichhardt is dripping with grapes. Nurtured by a small group of locals the food Forest is a shining example of the future of urban landscapes- productive, biodiverse, water sensitive, carbon capturing oases for humans to recharge and escape the mundane. I’m delighted to be a part of it.

16.01.2022 Happy Food Forest designers ready to change the world! Graduates of our 8 session Food Forest workshop series hosted by Randwick Council.

14.01.2022 So many blue tongues in the garden at the moment! It’s a good sign. This guy was hiding in the shed, so we thought we’d move her to a safer place.

02.01.2022 Carrot flowers!! Like lacy jellyfish hovering above the garden! Beautiful, great habitat and next seasons crop, it’s worth leaving one or two to set seed. Thanks to Jon Kingston and the permabee volunteers at the Randwick Permaculture Interpretive Garden for growing these beauties!
