25.01.2022 Kangaroos just want to have fun.

23.01.2022 Sometimes kangaroos just need to cross the road. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4QkGoOZ_AE

23.01.2022 Police in ACT mistakenly believe that a kangaroo needs their help and rescue it anyway. https://www.theaustralian.com.au//id-5348771529001-609539/

23.01.2022 Today on one of our tours, an inquisitive joey wanted to have a chat. Listen carefully you will hear it making a coughing like sound as it approaches us. Video was taken and supplied by Dan and Cheryl Jackson, two of our lovely customers.

21.01.2022 Swimming Kangaroos Kangaroos are very powerful swimmers. Note carefully in this video and you will see that the kangaroo is kicking its legs independently. The only time a kangaroo uses its legs independently is when they are swimming. ... In fact their swimming ability is so good that at times, they grab small predators (normally dogs and dingoes), take they onto the water and drown their would be attackers.

20.01.2022 In addition to seeing 14 kangaroos today, a highlight was spotting 2 very shy lyre birds. http://www.sydney-tours.com.au

19.01.2022 Come and see some of the residents of Sydney. The picture is one of Sydney's beautiful brush tailed possums. We offer options to search for them. https://www.sydney-tours.com.au #sydneytours #sydneyprivatetours #sydneywildlife

19.01.2022 Drenched kangaroo and joey in pouch. Even in a break from torrential rain we are seeing a number of kangaroos and their joeys. This one is drenched.

17.01.2022 Come and join Travel Ideology's Northern Beaches Sydney Tours. A little paradise within a major city.

17.01.2022 COVID is having different effects on everyone. Whether you are kicking up your heels, rolling with the punches or scratching your eyes out, we thought you may like this kangaroo clip.

16.01.2022 More kangaroos with the white stuff! https://7news.com.au//nsw-woman-films-moment-two-kangaroos

15.01.2022 Walking with Wild Wombats tour is now live. Here are a few images of what we saw yesterday and where we went. If you would like to learn more, please have a look at https://www.sydney-tours.com.au/wombats-tour/.

15.01.2022 Today I took a 7km bush walk about 2.5 hours south of Sydney. I saw 3 lyre birds and 5 Glossy Black Cockatoos. I found out that the Glossy Black Cockatoos are listed as vulnerable and very rare/threatened. They are a beautiful bird with vibrant red/orange markings on their tail feathers. https://www.sydney-tours.com.au/sydney-parrots-tour/

15.01.2022 We saw between 60 and 80 kangaroos today. Many were in people's front yards. How does a kangaroo drive a car or check his mail?

14.01.2022 The kangaroos are coming to town. Photo is courtesy of Giselle Rothwell, who joined us on a recent tour,.

14.01.2022 Don't get between fighting kangaroos. This fight is probably over mating rights with a female.

12.01.2022 Some sulphur crested cockatoos Doing some recon work for our new Sydney parrots tour and saw these two having a cuddle. https://www.sydney-tours.com.au/sydney-parrots-tour/

12.01.2022 Earlier this month a wallaby was spotted swimming in Sydney Harbour. The crew of a ferry assumed that it was in trouble and pulled it out. However, wallabies and others from the kangaroo family are very strong swimmers. Also, from the video, it appears to be less than 50 metres from shore. It is unlikely that the wallaby needed assistance, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOX_66DJi6c

12.01.2022 Today we saw over 100 kangaroos. It was a day of joeys. We saw 3 joeys in their mothers' pouches.

11.01.2022 Walking with wild wombats After great success with our tours to see kangaroos in the wild, we will be offering walking with wild wombats tours to allow our international visitors the opportunity to get close to wombats in their natural habitat. These tours will be available once travel restrictions in Australia are eased. Stay tuned for more information. ... https://www.sydney-tours.com.au/wombats-tour/

11.01.2022 Did you know that one sixth of the worlds parrots call Australia home? 56 species of the 300 or so species of parrot are found in Australia, and more than a dozen of these are found in Sydney. We have just launched a tour that shows off our amazing colourful parrots and native bird life. See https://www.sydney-tours.com.au/sydney-parrots-tour/

10.01.2022 Come and see some of the residents of Sydney. The picture is a rainbow lorikeet. We often see them on our Blue Mountains and kangaroo tours.

09.01.2022 Travel Ideology has survived the bush fires and floods that have led to national park closures. We will survive the Corona Virus as well. At present, our thoughts are with our customers past, present and future. Please stay safe and take care in these challenging times.

07.01.2022 The bushfires are over, the rains have subsided and we are seeing lots of kangaroos. Hope to see you soon.

06.01.2022 Have people told you that there are no kangaroos in Sydney city? Sometimes reality is weirder than fiction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9dz4l8VALw

05.01.2022 I was lucky enough to find a potoroo on Friday in a suburban area of Sydney. This small member of the kangaroo family is not very common.

04.01.2022 Merry Christmas from Travel Ideology's Sydney Tours. Where will you be at Xmas time?

03.01.2022 Today marked the first of our tours conducted in Spanish. We were lucky enough to have the company of 5 members of the Correal family. Whilst we only managed to see about 20 kangaroos, we also saw a lace monitor, a bearded dragon, a couple of kookaburras, some rainbow lorikeets and even a couple of rosellas.

02.01.2022 Managed to find a wallaroo in the wild yesterday. Not as large as a kangaroo nor as small as a wallaby is the wallaroo. It is also not as common as either the kangaroo nor wallaby.

02.01.2022 A quokka is part of the macropod (big foot) family that includes the kangaroo.

01.01.2022 The quokka is part of the macropod family, the same family as the Kangaroo.

01.01.2022 With the Australian dollar at a record low, now is a great time to book your trip to Australia and book in to one of our tours. Come and join us to walk with wild kangaroos.
