08.01.2022 All, Following the recent annoucement of the clubs committee stepping down there have been a number of members past and present who have reached out to assist the club in various capacities to ensure regular race meets are maintained until the next AGM in 2021. We would like to thank everyone for there support, including those from other clubs who have reached out to volunteer their time. On this basis the club we are pleased to confirm the following temporary "caretaker role...s": President & Treasurer: Trent Johnson Vice Precident: Mark Mason Secretary: Stephen Toomer Web Manager: Andrew Galea Track Manager: Glenn Welch There are a number of familiar faces and collectively many years of experience at Ryde, the club is certainly in safe hands. Onwards and upwards!

01.01.2022 Important Announcement The Sydney RC Club would like to thank our current members, guests, and sponsors Campbelltown Hobbies for your support in what has been an incredibly challenging year for people and their families in general but also for the hobby and sport in 2020. Like most RC clubs the Sydney RC Club rely on the dedication and hard work of volunteers from track prep to race control and other activities behind the scenes to help keep it ticking over. The club has been... fortunate to have such dedicated individuals on the committee this year. Unfortunately, though due to family commitments and changes in personal circumstances the current committee members will not be able to continue their time commitment to the club on a consistent basis going forward. Regrettably as a result the current committee will step down with immediate effect and racing at Ryde will be put on hold until a new committee can be reformed. The next few years will bring about significant change for the club as it shifts location in the park to a new purpose built facility funded and supported by the councils Blenheim Park Master Plan to provide a permanent race control, wheelchair access, undercover pit area, spectator gandstand and perhaps even undercover track. If you are interested in taking the club forward into 2021 with fresh ideas and renewed energy (and hopefully with the worst of COVID 19 behind us) please reach out to the club via Facebook Messenger or at our email address [email protected] The current committee will of course caretake the assets and administration until a new committee is installed and will provide full support in any agreed transition.
