10.01.2022 For Members interested in participating in this project: Responses needed from equestrian athletes for survey on treating injuries. We have been contacted by two researchers from Southern Cross University, who want to find out more about "The utilisation of manual therapy (eg physiotherapy, chiropractic, osteopathy, massage) for musculoskeletal injuries in elite and professional equestrian athletes"... You do not need to have used manual therapy to be a participant in this survey. The aim of our study is to gauge the use of manual therapy and it's reported outcomes. "Professional equestrian athlete" refers to a person actively engaged in riding horses as a source of income (for example- jockey, professional trainer, dressage, showjumping, western sports, rodeo sport-riders). "elite rider" - one who competes and or trains on a regular basis (4+ days/week) for advance levels - not for recreation. If you fit the above criteria and are interested, click on the Qualtrics survey link below to be directed to the Participant Information Sheet, followed by the Survey questions: Qualtrics survey link: https://scuau.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_e5Nu776XPKD253T The survey is open until the 17th of September for you complete and submit.
