19.01.2022 This week saw the launch of With One Voice Redfern with their conductor Mary Kiani at the helm. The event was a big success with around 120 people turning up to celebrate the launch. The choir has cemented connection between members, new friendships have been formed and people feel safe and acknowledged when they sing together. It's Altona Meadows choir that has been involving in aged care residents and bringing the community together for the past six years. It really is about building this community and building those relationships but starting up with the idea of community singing. Kristella Finocchiaro has been a member of the With One Voice Sydney choir for two and a half years. She has a lifelong passion for music and the arts, having started dancing at the age of 5 and still continues to this day. She also spent many years taking piano lessons, so naturally, the interest in singing developed in her teen years and has grown even more since joining the choir community. Her favorite genre is Musical Theatre, but for this session, her theme is 'Piano Time Favourites'.
