22.01.2022 We hope everyone is well out there. We are still open as usual, but need to discuss some new measures we are taking in our workplace. We understand these are challenging times for everyone. We just want to ensure our clients we have taken the necessary steps to protect our clients and employees health and well-being. We have implemented strict instructions to all employees to maintain appropriate procedures to protect them in the workplace as well as anyone else who visits. ...This has allowed us to carefully implement our business continuity plan in a safe work environment. We will maintain social distancing during encounters with all staff, clients and couriers. The social distancing measures we have in place allow 1 mechanic per workshop. This means we are taking reduced bookings to allow us to cope with limited staff. This has also allowed employees to opt out of working and self isolate if wanted. All vehicles, keys, deliveries that are received by us are disinfected before work has commenced with suitable products. The office is now a staff only environment, and we request any communication be by phone or face to face allowing at least 2 meters between people. 19.01.2022 A180 - all good to go after its yearly service. We discovered this one needed a battery after we found it failed the test while performing our service check over. We also found the Eco start had stopped working, and we resolved this by replacing the stop start battery.

05.01.2022 2007 C200 Kompressor - Just towed in Vehicle wouldn't start No dash lights and key turns but wont start. These are indicators the electronic steering lock (ESL) might be faulty. We scanned the vehicle with our Specialized Mercedes Benz diagnostic equipment, which confirmed this. ... About to remove the Electronic steering lock now and pass it onto Australian Ecu Repair to be repaired. The ESL should be back in the vehicle soon, and the car will be collected this afternoon.
