22.01.2022 NEW SERIES: 5 exercises you must be able to do so you don’t die! 1st of 5 - 10 full range push ups. There are 5 movements we can easily do when we are young - under 18 - that we must be able to sustain as we age. The better you can do these movements the better your long term physical health.... In the first of 5 exercises is 10 low to the ground push ups. The push-up is a classic test of upper body strength and of course numbers will vary depending on age sex and weight. The reality is, if you can’t do more than 10, it’s not good! Did you know the world record for consecutive push ups is 10,507 for a man and 555 (full) for a woman. How many can you do ? Tune in for the next exercise tomorrow....
18.01.2022 I say almost every Sunday, the secret to healthy eating success is food planning and preparation. 1. Go shopping to have healthy food to cook. 2. Don’t have unhealthy snack food in the house - you are bound to eat it (even me).... 3. Prepare meals in advance for busy days ahead. 18.01.2022 Topp day on the water with Topp clients thanks to our friends Rushcutters Bay Paddle Sports Proving I go all out for my clients I paddled frantically to secure a recovery boat when a client capsized and couldn’t get back in. All in all an eventful and fun day.

11.01.2022 I’ve been saying it for years.... You only need to drink water: it’s what your body is made from, you lose 1.5 litres a day so you need to replace it and it’s go ZERO calories naturally!!!

No.2 of 5 - Full Squat There are 5 movements we can easily do when we are young - under 18 - that we must be able to sustain as we age. The better you can do these movements the better your long term physical health.... The second exercise is a FULL squat - bum to the ground. There is often debate about how far we should go down when squatting. The common answer is just below the knees. The truth is the lower the better (naturally taking into consideration injuries). Think about a child, they can happily sit in a squat position and think about an old age pensioner who can barely bend. We need to stay as close to the functioning of the child as possible.
