08.05.2022 "Salaam, everyone. I hope you are all doing well! As you all know, Sudan has been severely affected by floods in recent weeks to the extent that a state of emergency has been declared. Many, many homes have been destroyed or made unlivable and thousands of people are in urgent need of support of all kinds. Fortunately, Human Appeal Australia has stepped up to do its part in providing assistance and has organised a fundraising dinner for tonight in coordination with the Sudanese Australasian medical professionals Association of Australia and New Zealand and Sydney Sudanese Youth. Proceeds collected will all be going towards helping those in need back home. Please give generously if you can, but even the smallest donation will be appreciated. Jazakum Allahu Khair
