25.01.2022 The swing dance community exists because of jazz music and lindy hop. We recognise the vital contribution that African-American musicians and dancers have made historically, and continue to make, as originators of the art form. We honour the cultural legacy of black musicians and dancers whenever we dance. Swing Patrol stands in solidarity with all those suffering the injustice of systemic racism, and those fighting for change.
