18.01.2022 Year 11 Biology Fish Dissection. Module 2- Organisation of Living Things. Today we examined the internal anatomy of the bony fish (mullet). The emphasis was on Gas Exchange in fish and the operculum, gills, gill filaments, gill rakers and gill archers were observed. Other organs that were located include the heart, stomach, intestines, swim bladder, and the gonads. The lens within the eye of the fish was also extracted with great precision! A number of potential surgeons are definitely in our midst. All that is required for that though, is keeping up the hard work! #LoveWhereYouLearn #nationalscienceweek2020
