16.01.2022 We have today closed our Bella Vista and Liverpool clinics due to two confirmed cases of COVID-19 from people who have attended these clinics. These clinics are currently undergoing a deep clean. We are working with NSW Health to facilitate contact tracing. Sydney Ultrasound for Women will be in touch as soon as possible with any patients who have been at these clinics during the relevant period. ... Please be reassured that NSW Health has advised that the risk of transmitting COVID-19 at the clinic was low, as patients were wearing masks and clinical staff were wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE). Any patients that are scheduled for an appointment at these clinics in the coming days will be contacted to discuss arrangements for their appointment. All of our clinics have health and safety precautions in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep you safe. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your cooperation with our safety measures. In the interest of public and community safety, it is vital that we all remain vigilant during this time. As always, if you feel unwell, please get tested and isolate accordingly. 16.01.2022 October 15 is International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Today we honour the babies who lost their lives to miscarriage, stillbirth and newborn death. We acknowledge the lives of these babies and the grief of their families. We will light a candle tonight in remembrance.

09.01.2022 The 3rd trimester scan is usually requested by your doctor any time after 28 weeks. There are many reasons to have a 3rd trimester ultrasound. Your baby might be measuring too small or too big for your dates, your baby might be in breech position, you may have gestational diabetes, high blood pressure or at risk of developing pre-eclampsia or perhaps you are having twins or triplets. Regardless we recommend a 3rd trimester ultrasound to check baby’s growth and wellbeing and to assess your cervix and placental position in preparation the birth of your baby.https://www.sufw.com.au/

01.01.2022 Today we are celebrating Genetic Counsellor Awareness Day to raise awareness about the valuable role genetic counsellors play in healthcare. Thank you to our genetic counsellors who help to share complex health information in an informative and supportive way. Importantly, they help patients to understand their reproductive health and make informed decisions.
