06.01.2022 I serve in the EU now because this odd conglomerate of humans, from all over Sydney and beyond, has changed my life. I don’t think they realise just how much a person can change over 4 years, but I tell you now that it has been substantial. And I don’t think they realise just what a profound thing they did. The EU has shown me Jesus. God’s chosen saviour, born of a virgin, who turned water into wine, who calmed a storm, walked on water, healed the sick, comforted those in despair, dined with sinners and cried for his friend. He was anointed with tears, died an unjust death, so I (we, us!) could live justified. The EU did not just show me a mere man, they showed me God. God has taken my sin and given me new life, so I serve him. - Jono Tulk (LRLR imagine conference team) #HumansofEU
