17.01.2022 Congratulations to Diesel Darling for taking out the State title at Miss Burlesque NSW State Final 2020 last night!! A great show produced by Miss Kelly Ann Doll & Memphis Mae! We at the judges table had a difficult task as each and every performer beared their soul and hearts out on the stage for all to see. We know the work and energy that goes in to creating your acts, so thank you to the competitors for indulging us all.... Big congrats also to 2nd Runner up the enigmatic Ginger Foxx & to Eva Devore for taking out 3rd and Entertainer of the Year award! We are almost nearing the end of the most bizarre year of our lives and it was so nice to see people gather for the joy of burlesque and be able to do so in a safe manner! 2021 is almost here and we can't wait!

15.01.2022 2020 has certainly been a challenging year for the studio, artists and creatives and continues to be. We have strived to think outside the box and rise to any challenge that the pandemic presented us, from closing our doors completely for 14 weeks and morphing in to an online dance studio offering free and budget conscious classes to keep students connected and moving. With restrictions easing we have slowly returned to in studio classes with minimum numbers to comply with... social distancing restrictions along with rigorous amounts of cleaning and sanitisation. We also have happily kept some of our classes online to ensure that everyone is comfortable. We now are moving towards the end of the year and usually around this time we would be promoting all of our Performance Courses, that work towards our bi-annual showcase, The Big Reveal. Our showcases are a much anticipated event in our community and are something our students very much look forward to. Sadly this year we are unable to offer this opportunity as we don't have a theatre big enough to allow for social distancing of guests and distancing of students back stage. Whilst we are disappointed, this turns our creative minds to how we can turn this unfortunate realisation around and still bring the glamour and the sparkle to our students lives. As such, we are now offering Video Performance Courses in addition to our normal classes, whereby we create a performance piece with a unique theme and genre, chose a location to shoot (in studio or on location) and have a professional film crew shoot your routine that will be uploaded to our Vimeo account for you to share with family and friends. That way you still get an opportunity to dress up and also have something to look forward to! We have done a test run with a couple of courses and we are enjoying the process of presenting our dance in a different way. We hope that by June next year we will be back on track to presenting our showcase and we are cooking up some other ideas for an online Zoom show in the meantime. :-) Here is our very first course that was filmed at the very beginning of lockdown!
