Sydney Vital has a Translational Centre of Excellence dedicated to NET research, which was awarded a 5-year Centre of Excellence Certification by the European Neuroendocrine Tumour Society in 2019. 06.01.2022 This past Monday, Sydney Vital held its Cancer Research Showcase as a hybrid event with 50 people in attendance and a further 50 on our livestream. We were honoured to welcome Keynote Speaker Roger Reddell as well as our many researchers who presented their #Vital work in translational #CancerResearch. 02.01.2022 Sydney Vital congratulates Dr Angela Chou, SV member and seed funding awardee, for winning the 2020 NSW Premier's Awards for Outstanding Cancer Research Fellow - Early Career Fellow. Five years after being recognised as the Rising Star at the Premier's Awards, Dr Chou has been awarded again for her translational pancreatic cancer research, which has helped develop new treatment protocols and is aiming to improve survival rates for this hard to treat disease.
