16.01.2022 Thank you to the NSW SES Volunteer Association for running a story about our unit and the work we are doing with NSW Scouts in the June 2020 magazine. We are planning bigger and better things for our fellow volunteers when agencies reopen to visitors. 10.01.2022 Recently, Metro West Unit, with assistance from Selina from the SES Volunteer Associaciation, delivered the Mental Health for Emergency Service Volunteers module of the Scouts SES Badge for 1st Balcombe Heights Venturers. In thins online session, the Venturers were presented information on the causes of mental health issues, the warning signs, how to help those affected and what support services are available. To complete this module, the Venturers have a short research task to complete. Good luck 1st Balcombe Heights Venturers on achieving your SES badge.
