25.01.2022 The Rec Club is finally back from 1 July. We are officially a Covid Safe venue and are following the guidelines outlined by NSW Health. We are taking extra precautions with sanitizing equipment and high usage areas cleaned regularly to keep all our members safe. Registrations are now open for all our adult competitions, grab a few friends or come as a solo player and we can place you into a team.... With the outbreak of COVID-19 and the restrictions that have followed, the industry is facing total devastation. While the The Rec Club is doing everything we can to keep our place a clean, safe environment and within the ever changing NSW Health guidelines. We have seen a big drop off in numbers. ... We are appealing to our Federal Government for a stimulus measure to assist in the rental requirements of Indoor Sports stadiums. Our rent is our largest fixed cost and there is no landlord or insurance provision that will protect our industry from this disaster. There are approximately 134 indoor sports stadiums across Australia, all of which are essentially closed, or trading at heavily reduced levels as a result of the Government restrictions around COVID-19. A stimulus package aimed at assisting these centres with their rental costs will save an industry built upon community and small business, an industry that employs the youth of our nation and keeps families together with regular sporting activities and community gatherings. In light of this we have decided to temporarily close The Rec Club for 4 weeks effective immediately. 02.01.2022 Hi Rec Clubbers, We take health and hygiene very seriously at The Rec Club, and wanted to keep you all updated on the practices we have in place to help keep our space as clean and safe as possible. Inflatable World and The Rec have some of the most vigorous health and safety standards in the industry. All our staff are trained on how to keep our equipment and space clean. ... With everyone on high alert, our team will be more vigilant than ever to ensure our space is a clean, safe, and fun environment. GUIDANCE & PRECAUTIONS 1. We are following guidance provided by NSW Health on public events, health, and hygiene, and will continue to take their lead on this. Our operations will continue as usual. 2. Our staff have been notified of the best practices for health and hygiene. Clean hands, disinfecting equipment etc. Staff feeling unwell or that have recently returned from overseas have been asked to stay home. 3. WASH YOUR HANDS, WASH YOUR HANDS, and wash them again. We ask everyone visiting The Rec Club to wash their hands before they come. Sing Happy Birthday to yourself twice during your hand wash to ensure optimal cleaning and hygiene. 4. Equipment Cleaning We clean and disinfect our equipment every two hours. We will be regularly closing off different areas to allow a thorough clean throughout the day. This takes no longer than a few minutes but is an important part of our practice. Thank you for your time and well meet you at The Rec!
