07.01.2022 The fuel reduction burn has been completed, but the reserve is still closed will safety checks and remediation of damaged areas are completed. Hoping for quick work as we're missing our regular walks.

04.01.2022 SYKES SANCTUARY The Tasmania Fire Service will be undertaking preparation work in Sykes Sanctuary Monday 23 September 2019. This will involve mulching, brush...cutting and tree pruning etc. to help protect natural and physical assets when the fuel reduction proceeds (potentially this Spring). People are reminded to stay a safe distance from machinery etc. when these preparation works are taking place.
