09.01.2022 These guys must’ve known it was Vet Nurse Day when they booked in for their vaccinations and microchips Happy Vet Nurse Day to all of the veterinary nurses out there, but especially the amazing nurses of SVH We really are so lucky to have a team of the most compassionate, dedicated, caring and hardworking nurses the world could find. Our nursing team goes above and beyond for each and every patient that comes through our doors. If you work or have worked in the veterina...ry industry you would know that it is so hard to show or put into words all of the work that a vet nurse does day to day. A vet nurse is an anaesthetist, surgical assistant, lab technician, radiographer, infection control officer, paramedic, councillor, nutritionist and teacher. They take bloods from patients, administer IV fluids, change your pets bandages when they need them, medicate them, bathe them, feed them, cuddle and love them and so much more... They give the best possible care to your pets the second they walk through the door and continue to do so right up until the moment they leave... to then continue to think about their patients on the drive home and until they go to sleep at night This team are always striving to be the best possible nurses they can be. We are blessed Thankyou Ps. This is only a handful of the hardworking team that we have See more
