23.01.2022 Tonight was so good!! Our players learnt the pathway from starting tennis through to playing grand slams, what it takes to become professional, what is expected of the professionals, the costs of becoming professional & the career options in tennis. We also analysed the mens US Open quarterfinal match & looked at the two different types of playing & strategic styles. We also shared a few stories from our experienced coaches while playing overseas & what comes with that! The mental side of tennis is such an important part & can sometimes be pushed to the side over time on court. Don’t underestimate how many matches are won due to mental strength!!

13.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS STEVE!! Steve won the 55+ mixed doubles event with his mixed partner Linda at the Bundaberg tournament over the weekend. Steve has been playing on the seniors tour for the past 12months & also plays Wanganui, Wednesday night comp & SWTC BWR Singles comp, gets some lessons with @swtc_coach_monique & is always up for a social hit! 08.01.2022 What an evening to be on court! Thanks to our friend Shaun for helping out over the last couple of days! Shaun was/is a great player himself, a great coach, has experience coaching on the ATP tour as Matt Ebden’s coach for 18 months, currently works for TNSW and is also a great bloke! Some of our players were lucky enough to get a lesson with him over the last two days! Can’t wait for him to come back again!
