25.01.2022 SEASON OF CREATION 2020, is an annual ecumenical event held from 1 September to 4 October, and is meant to be a time of prayer and action in favour of our comm...on home. This years focus is to consider the integral relationship between rest for the Earth and ecological,economic, social and political ways of living. The theme of Season of Creation 2020 is Jubilee for the Earth. The Don Bosco Green Alliance offer you the following suggestions, which we as a global Salesian Family green network could implement during the Season of Creation 2020. 17.01.2022 Students and staff, at the Divine Mercy School Malololelei, Samoa, run by the Salesian Sisters, have planted 300 trees as part of their Literacy Week programme.... Divine Mercy School Principal, Sister Sovita, FMA, said they were following the teachings from the Laudato Si' about the environment and how humans care for mankind’s common home which is the planet earth. It was one of the programmes for their Literacy Week. Sister Sovita added that their goal was to teach their students how to plant trees and "care for our common home", which is like rebuilding our environment. The students all wore green for this special day. #DonBoscoGreen

03.01.2022 Today, our friend and fearless leader, Romina, is finishing up in her role as Youth Ministry Coordinator. We're sad to see her go, but excited to support this next exciting step in her life as she takes on a new role with Caritas Australia :D If you know Rom, you know what she's about. If you don't know Rom, thats a real shame. Feel free to send her a message and say hi shes pretty friendly! Heres a short message of thanks form the woman herself. In case this doesn...t come through in the video shes incredibly grateful for the opportunity that she has had to work WITH and FOR young people.
