25.01.2022 How good is this gal? Monique has been a part of the Symmetree family from the very beginning - that’s over 7 years ago. And to finally welcome her to the floor as a teacher is one of the greatest things to come out of lockdown! And what a teacher she is! ... And what’s even more exciting is as of next week we will be able to have more of you enjoy her classes on a Monday and Tuesday night as we will be able to accomodate up to 20 students once more. Bookings are still essential.

22.01.2022 We are so blessed to have Chris on the team, we have had such wonderful feedback from his beautiful classes already. To have a chance to practice with him is a gift to yourself. 20.01.2022 With quite a few requests for some shorter pre- recorded (if Juzzy stopped talking it might be possible) yoga classes, I wanted to get a feel for any particulars. These will be available for those with memberships 3 months or more and or can be purchased as a seperate package for those who want a daily yoga practice. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. If you have time to repeat or hold the poses a little longer you will reap even more restoration to body and mind! You will see in black our classes LIVE STREAMED remotely and in white our STUDIO classes. ... Please consider when booking your classes that we are limited to 10 students per class. Be sure to share the love around. We also suggest that if it’s been 6 months since you practiced, although you’ll be keen, but we remind you, you will need to recondition your bodies and one or two classes a week for the first couple of weeks might be enough. Stay tuned for all the protocols necessary due to the heavy COVID restrictions still in play. You should all receive an email shortly. Please note if you have existing passes and memberships they will be reactivated from the 9th November, if you are having difficulty booking your classes with existing passes or memberships please DM here or email and we will take a look at it for you. 07.01.2022 Do you run? A little calf and ankle love Now these may look comfortable for me, but if you haven’t done them before you’ll feel it all!!! Just short gentle holds to start with and then build up to longer holds, any serious ankle and knee injuries new or old will find these difficult, take care to assess your ability to find these shapes and DM with any questions. ... To create a flow, start with a forward fold and alternate knee bend to assess your hamstrings and calves. Come down to kneel and stretch your soleus, a deep calf muscle and work the dorsiflexion of your ankle itself. Then take your shin from the floor and find plantarflexion of the ankle and stretch the tibialis anterior (neither of these are as easy as it looks)! Repeat on the other side and then your favourite - Toe Squat! Extending all 10 toes and finding length in the plantar fascia and muscles of the sole of your feet (it’s really not fun but so good for you). Complete the sequence with another forward fold and alternate knee bend, then rise to stand. As you stand, close your eyes, drop into your body, land in your feet, feel grounded, feel supported, just take a moment to be. Full deep breaths and encourage an audible exhale to release any tension and stress. May you run for wellness, not to escape your pain. Trust me I have down both....running for the love of your body feels so much better

06.01.2022 Change is always happening without you noticing right away. Stay consistent. Keep showing up. Do your best every day, however your best looks on that day. ... Some of my examples are; My body and mind from movement and combined stillness every day - a perfect example. Building our home for the last 11 years. Doing a little bit at a time and wow. Change is constant, let’s focus on where we’d like to see ourselves and commit to small actions every day in that direction. And trust that with those good intentions and consistent action you will look back and things will be different. Focus on each day and enjoy the journey and all the experiences that come with it along the way. What are some examples for you?
