23.01.2022 Minimalist pantry design within #CarrickNewBuild Here are a few tips for creating both a pretty + practical pantry: - Create a extension of the kitchen using the same (if your budget permits) or a similar aesthetic to the kitchen. Keeping the same joinery colour palette within your pantry is great way to achieve a continuation. A lot of clients opt for a similar look to their kitchen in a Laminate Benchtop, if Stone or Timber doesn’t work within the budget ... - Let there be light! Allow as much natural light in as possible, consider task lighting below overheads + opt for lighter finishes to make the pantry feel bigger - Consider what you see when the door to your pantry is open (or if you don’t have a door to close the pantry off at all). Closed cupboards or drawers will look much neater than open storage. Keep the open storage for the areas that are hidden within the pantry - Work out what you will store in the pantry + use the space for before designing. 20.01.2022 Introducing my most recently completed project #CarrickNewBuild What I find most exciting about starting a new project is getting to know your clients, learning about their lifestyles + what their interior style dreams are. I look at my role as an Interior Designer as not creating the same safe look for every client, but instead, letting them express their visions + helping them create meaningful spaces that fulfil their needs + visual aesthetics. The concept we ar...rived at for this project was Playful Luxury. Design elements including pattern, texture + contrast in colour were all factors considered when designing the spaces within this home. 16.01.2022 Starting the week off with some positive feedback from a lovely young family in relation to their new build. Its always so rewarding to see the project coming together in the flesh, after months of getting to know the clients, developing the concept for the project + working through all of the design + material details. 14.01.2022 Check out the already-amazing progress at our #BlackstoneReno The before kitchen was dated from both a layout as well a visual point of view, enclosed + for the way this family love to use their kitchen together, rather impractical. We decided as part of wanting to create an open plan living space for modern day family living, to remove a dividing wall between the kitchen + sitting area, which lead to adapting the layout of the new kitchen to a double galley style w...hich could be accessed from both sides of the home. The space feels like it has doubled in size, now let’s an abundance of light through + will be a lot more user friendly. The new Baltic Pine flooring has also recently been installed (still to be sanded/waxed) + we could not be more thrilled with how it’s coming together! @ Blackstone Heights See more

07.01.2022 Peering through the kitchen onto the dining area + sunken lounge at our #StLeonardsNewBuild One of the first finishes discussions I had with my clients was where within the home we could apply timber as a feature. With a soft industrial scheme in mind, Timber was the perfect material to introduce, to soften the warehouse look that concrete floors + black window frames can sometimes create.
