A chance to broaden your coaching experience? Apply today We are looking for qualified Artistic/Synchronised Swimming Coaches to train our athletes 10-15 hours per week from mid Jan 2021 SupaNova has athletes aged from 8 to 18 training in various levels. We need quality coaches to train our athletes in the lead up to the Australian Nationals in June!



24.01.2022 The Roberts Memorial Shield is a trophy awarded every year to the highest scoring Junior athlete at State Titles. It is named after one of WA's founders of synchro, Mrs Daphne Roberts. The 2020 winner of the Roberts Memorial Shield goes to Emily Holloway from West Coast Splash Synchronised Swimming Club. Thank you Rosalie Roberts for attending our awards evening to present the shield.

23.01.2022 The 2019/2020 Awards Evening held last weekend saw us celebrate the excellence and contribution of WA's National Team Members. WA has 5 athletes selected on the Australian Olympic Team and had 10 athletes represent Australia at the FINA World Championships in 2019. WA's Junior representation was strong with 4 athletes selected to the Australian Junior National Team. They will compete at the Junior World Championships that has been postponed to 2021.

14.01.2022 The Marsea Nelson Award is named after the first International coach specifically sourced to concentrate on high performance in WA. Marsea's passion and technical expertise took WA athletes to a new competitive level. Whilst Marsea valued technical expertise, she placed emphasis on other attributes such as resilience, respect and punctuality qualities that make one an ambassador for our sport. This award is given each year to an athlete who exemplifies these qualities. The 2019/20 Marsea Nelson Award Winner is Rose Stackpole from West Coast Splash Synchronised Swimming Club.

10.01.2022 SynchroWA is so excited to be hosting our first ever Camp for Regional Clubs in Perth. We have swimmers and their coaches from Gnowangerup, Katanning, Geraldton and Albany attending the camp for 3 days. The activities include working on figures skills, routine choreography as well as fitness and flexibility on the land. Today the participants will enjoy a talk from Olympian Amie Thompson and the coaches will be attending a Judges Workshop run by our Judging Co-ordinator Bridget Ammon. Thank you so much to SynchroWA's Regional Development Officer Camille Claudino for organizing and running this fantastic event.

07.01.2022 The Carbmill Award is named after Roslyn Carbon and Brian Miller, two of the original co-founders of SynchroWA. This award recognises the outstanding contribution of our volunteers. Nominated by a member of the SynchroWA community, it is awarded to volunteers who have shown selfless dedication, serving to promote the development of synchronised swimming in Western Australia. The 2019/2020 Carbmill Award Winners are Nikki and Michael Eidne.
