25.01.2022 Don’t forget that tonight is the night that daylight savings sadly comes to an end. With the cooler weather approaching us, now is the perfect time to replace the batteries in your smoke detectors. Winter has the highest number of house hold fires. So make sure you have a working smoke detector. If your not sure on how to test them or replace the battery, give us a call and we can sort that out for you.

20.01.2022 Synergy Electrical and Data is signing off the year completing our last sub board at Shellharbour Tenpin Bowl in their new kitchen. PS. That kitchen is gonna look good. Have a Merry Christmas and a safe New Year everyone.

20.01.2022 Called to a power fault after safety switches had been installed. To us a little while to find it, but was surprised when we did find it. This would have been like that from the day the house was built. A screw holding a conduit inside the meter box had gone through a cable behind the box. Couldn’t have planned it any better. Just goes to show you how higher the protection is with safety switches installed.

20.01.2022 Over the last 5 months we have been doing a lot of work at Shellharbour Tenpin Bowl. Bringing all the communications plus scoring up to date and more reliable. First we started of by working out what the requirements were needed. Then we made up a action plan on how to move forward with this with minimal disruption to the running of the business. Stage 1 consisted of installing new commercial grade monitors for the scoring system as some of them existing ones had started to ...fail, so that was the priority. We had custom made brackets manufactured as we knew that the scoring system was to be done, so it made sense to have things ready for that. Stage 2 was to rewire all the data throughout the building and also add in the extra cabling required for the scoring system. This was done and commissioned. Stage 3 was to cable all the control and communication cabling for the scoring system. Once this was done we selected a night to do a change over which included removing all the computers, control boxes, and cameras and replacing with the new system. This had to be done in 1 night as the business requires all this working. We successfully had all the system and scoring running by 9am this morning with out any glitches. A fantastic effort by the crew.

18.01.2022 Installed this beautiful custom made LED Pendant Light in a 6 metre high entry. Was a bit of a challenge with the height, but nothing is out of reach now with our very own scaffolding set up.

15.01.2022 Ducted exhaust fan ducting for new house. 1 motor, 2 rooms.

14.01.2022 This job was a bit of a difficult one. Remove a meter box which was starting to rust out and let water into it. It was recessed into a solid concrete wall with conduits coming through the top and bottom of it. So with about 2hours of cutting with a grinder, it was out. The next mission, get a new Stainless Steel box into the same hole. With a few adjustments and wiggling, it was in the wall. Meter panel connected back up and power was back on. Another happy customer with a nice Stainless Meter Box. This will last a lot longer than the previous box.

14.01.2022 Bit of night C Bus programming for St Francis Xavier Cathedral refurbishment. #clipsal #cbus #automation

12.01.2022 Hard to start work today with a view like this.

12.01.2022 4 simple but effective pendant lights over the island bench. They break the room up nicely

12.01.2022 We are proud to have completed the electrical work for Shellharbour Tenpin Bowl’s new kitchen and cafe area. 24 days from the start of demolition to being back open for business. All electrical stripped out and started from scratch with a all electrical new design.

12.01.2022 Last week we completed a job that was very pleasing to do and we were honoured to be involved. It was also something that a lot us just take for granted in life that we can do. Something simple like turning on a light switch. So, on Wednesday morning a long with Sturmans AV we set off to Crookwell. Our job was to rewire the lighting in a house and install a C Bus lighting control system with a suitable switch for a person with a disability to use easily. Plus we also wired f...or Electric Blinds. We run a link cable to Sturman Electronics’s equipment to enable them to control our lighting equipment and pool equipment, their AV equipment and intercom by phone or iPad not only inside the house, but remotely as well. Then the set up was completed with Voice Control. All in all, this was a very rewarding job. To be able to get all this brilliant technology to combine together for a project like this is quite something. The look on the customers face when it was all completed and put into action was truely touching.

11.01.2022 Pin Deck lighting upgrade for Shellharbour Tenpin Bowl. We removed the old dull fluorescent light fittings and install new LED fittings. Now there is no excuse to miss the pins.

05.01.2022 Replacing roller door motor and control box at SMAI. Nothing like a bit of scaffolding to start your day.

04.01.2022 We were asked to wire up a portable workshop so the client could pull up to a worksite and have all their equipment at their fingertips immediately. So, we installed numerous amounts of power points and a couple of LED Battens all with Double Pole Switching as is required in all Caravans and Portable Buildings. They even put an Air-conditioning system in to keep their employees cool and comfortable on those hot summer days. The truck has 2 inlet plugs complete with built in Safety Switch Protection so they can simply plug it in to any 15amp Power Supply where ever they may need to go. If no power is available it’s as simple as starting up the generator.

03.01.2022 Tasked with installing lighting to assist the drivers with reversing at night time, we installed multiple poles with LED lighting mounted to them. But had to be care with the positioning of them not to annoy the neighbours or blind the drivers. Then the task to only turn them on with movement was detected. So working with Forcefield Security, who were doing a full CCTV upgrade at the time, we developed a set up to integrate with the CCTV system and got the Cameras to trigger ...the lighting when certain cameras detected movement at certain times. This set up has also been installed through out the whole depot and office area. Using the power of the CCTV system, the lighting on one side of the complex can be turned on from a camera from the opposite side, or even sequenced so multiple cameras need to detect movement before the lights turn on. Truely amazing technology and integration of products. See more

03.01.2022 Laying a bit of Floor Heating on this cold wet day.

03.01.2022 Last night we upgraded Gateway Motor Groups work bay lighting from fluorescent fittings to LED fittings. Must say, the workshop will be a lot brighter for them today when they arrive.

01.01.2022 Lighting up grade in progress for Shellharbour Tenpin Bowl’s pin decks. Those pins are going to look good.

01.01.2022 Installed this awesome pendant light as a feature over a Dining Table. All stainless Steel and glass. We were quite nervous loading each piece of glass as the weight of the fitting increase with every piece. We reinforced the ceiling to hold the weight of the fitting, so she won’t be going anywhere soon.
