05.05.2022 I have received such an outpouring of thanks, support and beautiful messages from so many. My heart swells with gratitude and joy and makes moving on from Synergy Massage less scary. This region is truly bursting with great folk. So from me to all of you, have a safe and happy Christmas. It may be very challenging and out of the ordinary for some of you out there, but in my experience we all have someone close by who’s in our corner to offer a helping hand and a genuine smile.

17.04.2022 The nature of life often requires us to be versatile and adaptable. Change is inevitable and certain things can be out of our control. But change can bring about exciting and positive outcomes and unexplored possibilities. I’m taking that leap and winding up Synergy Massage. This has been an extremely hard and heart wrenching decision, but one that is necessary for me at this stage. I’ve had the joy and privilege of treating, meeting, working with and helping so many in our ...community, the region and beyond. From my heart, thank you everyone. Ruth will be operating The Massage Joint in a more full time capacity within High Country Fitness which makes me so happy and this also means a smooth transition for us all. It’s too hard to articulate my gratitude and my feelings, so I won’t try. Know that I’m here for a chat if there are any questions moving forward. My family and I are staying here in this, the best place in the world. From February 2021 the signs will be down, the oil put away and hands rested. Here’s to the future, whatever is has in store.

19.01.2022 Synergy Massage. So what is very clear is that nothing is actually very clear. We do know that what we thought we knew 24, 12 hours ago can and is changing in terms of who can work in allied health. What I can say with clarity is that we need to annihilate COVID 19. Synergy Massage will have to close for the time being as my duty of care is for the health and well being of you (my clients), my loved ones and myself. You all know that I bang on about stretching and staying hyd...rated, guess what I'm going to continue. The doors to the clinic may be shut and I won't be able to give you treatments but be warned, I've not disappeared. Stretch, hydrate, exercise, eat nutritiously to stay healthy. Please feel free to call if you have any questions. Look after yourselves, we're all on this rollercoaster together and therefore we'll all be with each other at the end of the ride, wobbly legs and all. See more

11.01.2022 Lisa Green is qualified in The Myofascial Cupping Technique. The Myofascial Cupping Technique What is the Myofascial Cupping Technique? It is a very different technique to traditional cupping. It involves the gliding of negatively pressurised cups over the body with the assistance of massage cream and can be accompanied by joint mobilisation and importantly, marking the skin is not part of the desired treatment outcome. It also is performed at a pressure level that is almost... painless to the client. How is it different to other massage techniques? Unlike all other massage techniques that use compression, the Myofascial Cupping Technique is unique in that it ‘lifts and separates’ soft tissue, known as negative or tensional pressure. This in turn can increase nutrient-rich blood supply to the tissue, while giving a gentle passive stretch to the underlying soft tissue. Benefits from the Myofascial Cupping Technique The Myofascial Cupping Technique can provide profound benefits, particularly with assisting the body in maintaining Range Of Motion, eliminating Myofascial Trigger Points and reducing restrictive and sometimes painful fascial adhesions commonly found from repetitive movement originating from sports and the workplace. By reducing fascial adhesions, while encouraging optimal hydration levels of soft tissue, the Myofascial Cupping Technique can assist in reducing the incidence of injury and maintaining functional soft tissue. 11.01.2022 We're hibernating, isolating, locking down and distancing. Cleaning, sorting and finding stuff, ending the procrastinating. Being imaginative, creative and rock...ing the good old family thing. Here's a big happy Easter shout out to you all. Life might be very different currently, but unlike toilet paper, there's still chocolate. See more
