23.01.2022 Cressa dialling it in for ICN Nationals in 3 weeks
22.01.2022 It’s really not that complicated...
22.01.2022 Happy Sunday! Check in day was yesterday and it’s been another good week with a 900g drop on the scales. Feeling leaner and seeing more definition so things are definitely moving in the right direction. I’ll leave things as they are for now and see where I land again on Saturday. My aim is to lose between 800g - 1kg each week for probably the next 4 weeks, so if I don’t get that drop at next week’s check in changes will be made. 8 weeks out!
19.01.2022 So here we are pretty much 5 days out from the ICN Brisbane Classic. I had my full day refeed as planned last Sunday which was basically an untracked day of eating whatever I wanted. After this my weight had already come back down again by Friday, which is quick for me, so I decided to have one more refeed meal on Friday night before starting a week of depleting. The first pic was the morning after my full refeed day and the second pic is the morning after my refeed meal on ...Friday. Again, I didn’t make any other changes to my diet or cardio. My weight today is up only 500g from last Sunday and I expect I’ll hit a new lowest weight by Friday morning before flying down to Brisbane. I’ve been enjoying this process of backing myself and not being afraid to try new things. So far I think it’s working . Bring on peak week... which will basically be no different to any other week lol
19.01.2022 Having the most fucked up prep ever but I’m getting there.
15.01.2022 Ok so weigh in day was yesterday and I’ve dropped another 700g for the week. That’s a good drop and I’m definitely feeling leaner and tighter. I’m wanting to get even further ahead though so that I’m not in the position where I’m a couple of weeks out and stressing with more fat to lose. So this week I’m going to bump up the cardio a bit more and lower my calories a little. I’ve decided to reduce my fats but leave my protein and carbs where they are so that I can keep training at a high level of intensity. Time to grind out another 7 weeks! We got this!
14.01.2022 Ready to smash out another week and what better way to kick things off than with legs!
14.01.2022 Keeping up with the posing practice! Not a great check in with the scales this week.. up 500g from last week. I’m not going to hit the panic button just yet though. Because despite the number on the scales, I’m feeling leaner and photos are showing new lines and striations. So I’m going to continue on as I am for another week. I had a refeed last Sunday and will be having another one today. Everything else will remain the same with the focus on being with diet, training & cardio. Getting close now at 3 weeks out
12.01.2022 So very proud of these two ladies, Leanne and Kim, who competed at the ICN Tropix on Saturday and they looked incredible! This was only Leanne’s second time competing and Kim stepped well outside her comfort zone by getting on stage for the very first time... but I’m sure it won’t be the last . Congratulations on your placings ladies, you both looked amazing!
11.01.2022 Brushing up on my posing and in desperate need of a tan! Another week, another check in. I ramped things up this week with a calorie drop and an extra 2 hours of cardio added in. I came in with a 500g drop this week and I’m happy with that. I believe that at this point a 300g - 500g drop a week is good. I’m still wanting to drop at least another 1.5kg and with 5 weeks to go I feel I can do that comfortably. Only getting more and more excited! Let’s go!
11.01.2022 Stoked with my check in this morning coming in with a 900g drop on the scales. At this point in the game that’s an awesome result! Regardless of what number came up today though, I was happy with the changes that I was seeing as my week was progressing. I did make a last minute change on Sunday night however and had a refeed/cheat meal. I felt it was a good time to throw it in there as I haven’t had a refeed for 7 weeks and was looking quite flat, so I felt it could give thin...gs a bit of a boost. By doing it then it also gave me enough time to make any adjustments afterwards if I needed to. I haven’t been making it into the gym for my Sunday conditioning session as I just have too much to catch up on at home. So instead of that I’ve added 30mins on the treadmill at home each evening. It seems to be working well and my calories will remain unchanged for another week. 4 weeks out and game on!! See more
11.01.2022 I had an awesome time competing in figure for the first time at the ICN Brisbane Classic today. I placed 1st in Figure Classic Class 1 and second in Figure Open Class 1. I’m really happy with my conditioning and how I looked today and it was great to be back on stage after a two and a half year break. Loving the new division and it turns out that I can pose in heels
09.01.2022 Now I have to share my client Kim’s story with you, as it’s truly inspirational. From a former heavy smoker who didn’t exercise, Kim has undergone a remarkable transformation. Before coming to me Kim had already given up smoking and had competed in a triathlon. Her ultimate goal however was body sculpting. She tried everything, but sadly no results. We started working together and Kim was finally seeing positive changes. However some months into our training Kim suffered a b...rain haemorrhage from a minor work incident and had to undergo emergency surgery. After a few months off training and basically having to start over, Kim never lost sight of her goal. Kim finally fulfilled her long held dream last weekend and competed in her first bodybuilding competition, placing 2nd, 4th and 5th in her divisions. At 46 years of age, looking and feeling her absolute best, Kim is a true testament that it’s never too late to start. So proud of you Kim! See more
09.01.2022 After being sick and having the entire week off both training and diet it’s sooo good to be back in the gym getting after it again. A good reminder for me to never take my health and my training for granted
08.01.2022 Finally getting around to putting up some pics from the ICN City Nationals in Sydney at the weekend. I placed first in Figure 40+ and ran a very close second in the Figure Open division. It was a great show with awesome, high quality line ups and I also got to meet some really cool people . Now it’s time to have a break and enjoy more food
07.01.2022 A wicked little combo to finish off the girls’ leg session this morning. Single leg seated leg press super-setted with single leg see saw lunges
06.01.2022 So I’ve been trialling a new approach during my off season and I'm excited to share the results after my first 4 weeks! After scrapping my plans to compete this year and having a few too many f**k it moments with food (yep we’ve all been there), I’d definitely put on some extra kgs that I wasn’t happy with. I finally decided it was time to get rid of that extra weight, and that was the perfect opportunity for me to try a new method of achieving results... and it works! ... 5.3kgs gone in 4 weeks with next to no training, thanks to an ongoing and worsening injury. Stoked with the results but I’m not done yet! Very excited to see what the next 4 weeks brings!
05.01.2022 Feeling ready! Two days out!
05.01.2022 Doing one of my faves today Strength is still good at about 3.5 weeks out
04.01.2022 Very happy to see these guys making their comeback! So even though my weight was up 500g last week, my refeed meal that I initially had planned actually turned into a refeed day . I made the decision to do that based on how I was feeling and how I was looking. Without having changed anything during this past week, low and behold today I have had a 500g drop on the scales and definitely looking and feeling leaner. I’m repeating the full refeed day again today and we’ll see how that pans out next week. Two more weeks to get even tighter. We got this!
01.01.2022 Had my check in today and came in with a drop of 300g. Not the amount I was hoping for but still a drop. I had a change of mind and didn’t end up changing my food last week... just increased my cardio a little. I’ll be making those changes this week though for sure. Still plenty of time to pull it together at 6 weeks out
