23.01.2022 TRAVEL UPDATE - TRAVEL UPDATE - TRAVEL UPDATE Good Afternoon Introducing Tropical Cyclone Damien, which has developed in waters approximately 250km west north-w...est of Broome. Currently a Category 1 system, it is anticipated to continue to track west south-west while intensifying. The Bureau expects TC Damien to curve southwards towards the Pilbara coast on Friday continuing to intensify, and landfall is expected on Saturday afternoon as a Category 4 Cyclone. Port Hedland and Karratha remain on Blue Alert at this time. The Pilbara coast between Port Hedland and Karratha are forecast strong winds and heavy rain from later Friday afternoon, stretching into the Inland Pilbara and Gascoyne areas as TC Damien tracks inland after crossing the coast. The Pilbara and Gascoyne areas should anticipate flooding as a result of the heavy rains. Flood Watches and Warnings are current, please refer to http://www.bom.gov.au/wa/warnings/ We will continue to monitor weather patterns throughout the duration of this cyclone, and all decisions to operate or not operate flight services will be advised directly to our clients whose travel plans will be impacted. Our clients are our highest priority. Decisions may be made to cancel services with little notification and we will keep you abreast of all updates as they come to hand. The Synergy Travel team

14.01.2022 TRAVEL UPDATE - TRAVEL UPDATE - TRAVEL UPDATE A Low Pressure weather system that is located over the Kimberley area and may affect our clients travel plans is c...urrently being monitored. Computer models suggest this weather system will move off the coast late Wednesday and develop into a Tropical Cyclone, moving slowly to the south-west parallel to the Pilbara coast. Forecasts then suggest that the Cyclone may intensify further before turning southerly toward the Pilbara coast on the weekend. As more information on this weather system becomes available we will provide updates. The Synergy Travel Team
