24.01.2022 Scam Watch: They Ray Band-its are back at it. Trying to advertise cheap product from peoples accounts. This one has been caught on a Facebook account. What are they doing?... They are logging into peoples accounts on instagram, facebook and twitter (unauthorised) to post images that contains details of their product and where to get them. Secure your account! - Delete the post - Change your password (Ensure you use a strong password) - Report the unauthorised log in to Instagram - Change the password of any linked accounts If you went to the website and entered any personal details such as banking information do the below. - Cancel the transaction with your bank. - Cancel your card and request a new one (if you entered details) - Clear the history, cache and saved information of the browser you used. - Run a virus scan if you used a laptop or desktop. 22.01.2022 STX Scam Watch: Scammers are sending links via texts posing as Banks. Example below for a CommonWealth Bank link asking the recipient to enter their details. We have seen reports of other Commbank customers affected. If you do receive a link like this via text and unsure of these types of messages, contact your and Bank to confirm the legitimacy of the text via their customer support as soon as you can. ... Just in case, see below the actions you can take to prevent any issues. If you received the text and have not opened the link or put any credentials in to the site: - DELETE the message and make note for future reference If you opened the link into your mobile devices browser: - Close the tab on your browser and delete the text message If you did the above and have entered your credentials: -Log on to another device i.e your computer and change your password and contact your bank IMMEDIATELY Or contact us for any further advice.

It seems too good to be true! What we did: We checked the login location of this compromised account (Image two) and saw that it was logged in from halfway around the world in Hong Kong....
