16.01.2022 If your ducted gas heater is not performing as efficiently as you expect there could be a few reasons but the most common is that it needs a service. A service on a ducted heating system includes; removing and cleaning the fan, cleaning the supply and return chambers (not just the filters), cleaning the flame and ignition sensors, checking gas flow and adjusting if necessary and checking the return air-filter and testing the unit. 01.01.2022 Do you want your ducted gas heating system to run more efficiently? Here's a tip for you.... rather than turning your heater off overnight, drop the minimum temperature to 14 degrees. It takes more energy (and therefore more $$$) to heat the house from cold than it does to maintain a constant temp. If you have a reverse cycle system, drop it to 16 degrees :-)
