25.01.2022 I love watching prints rise from the plate! I wish I had the patience to time lapse them...

24.01.2022 Not a regular view of the pair of Gateway Bridges over the #brisbane River! Picking up some nuts and bolts from a new supplier and they have this amazing view

21.01.2022 The office / meeting room / studio is coming together!

19.01.2022 When most of us go to work, there is no chance that we take someone else’s life in our hands. No chance that if you have a lapse in concentration, choose to skip that meeting or half arse that report, that someone will end up seriously injured or killed as a result. If there was, there would be safeguards, procedures, checklists, diligent oversight and someone double and triple checking your work, right? For most of us, the highest risk part of your day is getting into your c...ar and driving to work. The implications of a lapse in concentration can easily end up with you and / or one of your fellow motorists not making it home. 1200 people each year don’t make it home. 35,000 more visit a hospital and have their lives changed before making it home. That’s 100 people every day who’s lives are irreversibly changed for the worse. Do we pay such little notice to driving because it’s so common and we don’t perceive the risk any more? Or is it because we have our motorised exoskeleton around us and we feel protected enough to take the risks? In a high risk work environment where you have someone’s life hanging in the balance, you’d be paying attention, you’d be covering all bases- because if you didn’t, it would be your fault. Your work ethic in your car, while on your way to your low risk job, is just as important. Spare a thought for those who’s office is standing on those roads you use as you drive past: patching that pot hole, assisting that broken down vehicle, refreshing the line marking or installing a new sign to make it safer for you. Their life is in your hands

18.01.2022 Custom power bank almost ready to rock (just need some stickers!). 36V 30Ah battery and only 4kg all in with built in charger and meter. This packs in over 1kW of portable power for whatever you need. Even switchable between 12v, 24v and 36v

18.01.2022 Hi everyone, I need your help! I'm really keen to get a custom URL for my youtube channel and to do that I need to get a few more subscribers. If you could do me a huge favour and subscribe to my channel in the link below that would be awesome and super helpful for me to tip over from the 90s to the 100s (small goals!) . Here is a short video you can watch also demonstrating the Pi-Lit which is a cracker product to highlight worksites at night - they look particularly good under the cones as the vid will show. Thanks for your help! https://youtu.be/4N2s1SQFsdw

15.01.2022 That moment you set up for an 8hr print overnight and you run out of filament

14.01.2022 Is there a need for Australian TC to have portable VMS? Emergency Response maybe? Possibly for law enforcement? Could they be an alternative to carrying 100 spare multi message panels for every scenario? Let me know your thoughts below in the comments

12.01.2022 Another 60 brackets... Camera placement was horrendous but I wasn’t about to make them again...

11.01.2022 Diffuser experiments... I think this is the one!

10.01.2022 Adjustable mounts for small solar panels are a pain in the bum to find. It seems they all expect you to mount these flat and never adjust them. I’ve had them made before, but this is by far the best, most adjustable solution I’ve found which doesn’t get stupid-expensive for custom work.

10.01.2022 That not normal! Forgot to regulate the amps on this LED cluster- a number of the LEDs have died and I could have fried an egg on the PCB! #oops

09.01.2022 #problemsolving Sometimes it’s easier to mitigate the behaviour rather than trying to change the behaviour.

08.01.2022 #schoolholidays Had the little man at work with me today and here he is, super proud after coding a little dance party scene on his own for the first time! #proud For those parents with kids who might be interested- check out scratch.mit.edu !

08.01.2022 Umm... sounds about right

07.01.2022 Ready to for install tomorrow!

06.01.2022 I’m becoming a bit of a fan of the painters tape! Had 4 fails early on with warping... a bit of the green gear and success!! #creality #greennotblue

03.01.2022 Welcome to the Team Harrison Gavin ! Harrison has joined me to add his design finesse to the work this little shop puts out. First day and he got stuck straight in to a backlogged project. We’re both looking forward to seeing what we can do together! Great to have you on board Harrison

01.01.2022 22 working hours at 4500 lumens developed for a client and branded #illumin8. This has been designed to give you light everywhere you need it in one setup. Made for #trafficcontrol point lighting for a safer work zone, it’s durable, lasts 22 hours, adjustable beams for more or less area lighting and stands at 2.9m tall.

01.01.2022 Rookie mistake... termination to battery was reversed the loom and this was the result when connecting it... Its only one fried trace and resistor- this is on the repair list for tomorrow...
