24.01.2022 This article from Beyond Type 1 is definitely worth the read. We guarantee you will learn something new!

24.01.2022 As much as we want to know how to manage Type 1 at diagnosis and beyond, the best methods to teach us are time and lived experience. Unfortunately, we cannot speed up this process of knowledge - it can only be taught by living it.

23.01.2022 Did you know that there is a Carbohydrate Counting Book that has been created and published by highly talented and specialised diabetes and endocrinology teams based in Sydney? It is the Australian Carbohydrate Counter Book and it has just been updated to the 2020 Edition. Created by Clinical teams at Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital, this book is a game changer for taking the guess work out of food choices. 08.01.2022 It may be some time before we see the MiniMed 770G by Medtronic Diabetes on our shores however this is great news and a step in the right direction - the FDA in the US has just given approval for use in paediatric patients aged 2 - 6 years.

04.01.2022 As difficult as it may be to discuss other auto immune conditions that can coincide with Type 1, it’s important we are aware of the symptoms.

02.01.2022 Great work Diabetes NSW & ACT!

01.01.2022 Despite this article not being related to Type 1 Diabetes, with the use of images and clear explanations, goes a long way to demonstrate very clearly exactly what COVID19 is, how is behaves and how we may eventually discover a vaccine. We are certainly more educated on this virus after reading - thank you ABC Australia
