THE ROLE This is a hands on role and as the Bistro Supervisor you will be responsible for the delivery and execution of bistro activity at Tabcorp Park. This position is responsible for ensuring that Tabcorp Park delivers exceptional customer service experience for all of our guests. Reporting to the Senior Bistro Supervisor, this role will work in collaboration with the Tabcorp Park team including functions, sales & events and kitchen teams. Duties include: Bistro set up, preparation of floor plans and seating arrangements Supervision of bistro staff, training, and delivering exceptional customer service Managing quality control through leadership and living the Tabcorp Park Service Standards Preparing daily de-brief reports WHAT YOU NEED You will be a highly motivated, well-groomed professional and be responsible for the supervision and co-ordination of our busy bistro in Tabcorp Park. You will lead a team that is dedicated and passionate about our customers. To be considered for this role you should you will need to have: Previous strong hospitality experience in a supervisory role Demonstrated experience in supervision and leadership of staff and ability to deal with clients at all levels Valid Accreditations (e.g. RSA, Food Handling Certificate) Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety in the hospitality industry, including manual handling techniques and a demonstrated commitment and ability to educate staff in these practices. Ability to adhere to Covidsafe working practises Excellent organisational and communication skills Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, New Year’s Eve and all Major Race Events.
