25.01.2022 Thanks for all those that have been in contact recently. I'm now back in Australia and ready to do those late season clips. The great thing about clipping at this time of year is that it helps avoid the pain of months of moulting fur getting everywhere and helps the summer coat come through more quickly if you rug correctly after the clip.

25.01.2022 There have been lots of new bookings over the last few days so it looks like I will be doing one last trip down to Cairns/Goldsborough/Mulgrave areas and one to Mareeba / Kuranda in the next couple of weeks. Anyone who needs a horse clipped or massaged please let me know as soon as possible as after the weekend of 14/15 June I'll be unavailable for a month.

21.01.2022 Please meet Bud- my new furriest customer so far. He has Cushing's which means he has an incredibly long, curly and double thick coat. His owner was thrilled to see her horse emerge from the fur ball he was.

20.01.2022 I will be in Millaa Millaa, South Johnston, Mission Beach and surrounding areas TOMORROW doing equine massages. If you are interested in an assessment or session for your horse then please let me know. If your horse is sore, stiff, in heavy work or just not performing at their best then they may benefit from an equine massage. I'm fully qualified with 10 years experience and have references available on request. Sorry no clipping this weekend as all my blades are away being sharpened.

19.01.2022 My smallest and furriest customer to date. :) I was crawling on my knees to get the double thickness coat off of this miniature horse. Look at those furry boots he has left! So cute!!

11.01.2022 Did you know I started my equine career as an equine massage therapist? As well as a BSc (Hons) in Zoology, I trained and qualified as an equine body worker (EBW) and have over 12 years of experience in this area. After a short break due to moving and getting settled in, and due to increasing demand, I'm now going to start offering this equine massage service in the Tablelands and Cairns areas again. Equine massage works on identifying irregularities and imbalances in muscl...e structure and function and works to release muscles that are stuck in a partially contracted position or have adhesions within the muscle fibres or scar tissue. Equine sports massage can be used to support veterinary treatment for acute issues or can be used on it's own to support your horse to maintain comfort and enhance movement and performance. 09.01.2022 Another weekend and more happy customers. This lovely pony is going to feel much better at pony club with her young owners without all that fur, and the little mud monster will be much easier to keep clean now too!

08.01.2022 The wet season hasn't even properly arrived yet but the day length is starting to change and the ponies especially are starting to grow thicker coats. I did my first clip of the year yesterday on a beautiful black shetland who was struggling in the heat and humidity. I swear we heard a sigh of relief as the fur came off! Remember to book in early this year as I'm busier than ever and there may be a short wait before I can get to you.

06.01.2022 The pile of fur that came off this pony today was almost half as big as she is! What a beautiful well behaved pony she is.

02.01.2022 My clippers are away being serviced and the blades are getting sharpened. I'll be available to clip your furry monsters right after I have finished doing mine! So feel free to send me a message to make an appointment. I'll be working mainly on the Tablelands as there is already a lady doing a great job clipping in Cairns.

02.01.2022 I love this 'before' and 'after' comparison of the lovely Sammy who I clipped last weekend. This clip was for medicinal purposes so that those horrible ticks can be repelled and found more easily - it's just a bonus that he looks so good afterwards! Sammy's owner was so pleased that she has booked me in to come back and do her other pony next weekend!
