How I'm feeling right now after last nights lychee post & you all blew up the internet Far out I didn't know that many of you loved lychees as much as me - they are my absolute favourite seasonal fruit.... THANK YOU! I'm going to spend a good part of my day continuing to get back to all of you. I think it's safe to say we will be successful at being able to sell all estimated 1000kgs and I'll be letting our farmer know this morning - YOU WANT THEM Thank goodness this lot won't be getting sent down south! Right now we are just taking expressions of interest, no orders or payments until we have them in around 10 days time. SAVE THIS LINK - This is where you will be able to make your lychee purchase. 19.01.2022 FINGER LIMES Well I never even heard of this tangy delight until I started our business. Fingerlimes I'd say are close to a normal lime but way more cool, they have pearl like beads when cut in half that come oozing out like caviar. Perfect for my favourite afternoon drink - Soda water with a dash of lime, finger lime, passionfruit & mint - very refreshing! We also like to sprinkle on our oysters & salads.... Finger limes are a great source of folate, potassium and Vitamin E and C. They have also been used topically for many generations as an antiseptic for infected sores and boils - very cool fruit indeed. Thank you to the Isabella Farm in Tolga for growing this beautiful delight.

This is the last week for capsicums & passionfruit! Our local tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries, stone fruit & garlic is now finished for the season.... 10.01.2022 Fans we had Stockade Farm get in touch with us a couple months back. Stockade Farm has free range pasture fed hens. They do a 10pk & we would sell them at the same price as our current eggs that are 12pk from Stockmans free range for $7.50. We can't stock both due to lodgistics & costs, FYI we don't profit selling eggs, we just stock for convenience for our customers.... I'm going to leave this for our fans to decide, are you happy to pay $7.50 for the 10pk? This is a little more information on Stockade: Their hens follow their cattle in the grazing strips. Thus improving the soil microbiology and their carrying capacity, They play a key part in their sustainable regenerative farming model by fertilising their pastures and helping them control pest and weeds. This means they don't need chemicals. They pride themselves on providing their hens with a healthy natural environment allowing them to do what hens do best, scratch, forage and enjoy the freedom to roam.

We don't have a usual shop front in town however we welcome our customers to pick-up from our home. As this is where we live we try to find a happy medium for both business & personal time. 07.01.2022 LADY FINGER BANANAS Oh my absolute favourite variety of banana, just a bit sweeter than your common cavendish banana. Eaten fresh is best just peel that thick skin & enjoy. I love cutting up lady finger bananas & popping on top of my porridge and blueberries go really well with banana. Also on toast with a bit of raw honey - YUM! When overripe they make the best banana bread & banana cake. Don't forget the lemon & passionfruit icing!... Lady Finger bananas are high in potassium, and dietary fiber. They are also full of good pre-biotic bacteria which is good for gut health. Lady Finger bananas are also rich in vitamins C and B5, with lesser quantities of vitamins A, E and K. Bananas are also high in minerals such as manganese, magnesium, calcium and zinc. Bananas are also very low on the glycemic scale and are ideal for those on a diabetic diet. 03.01.2022 Cooking on location my famous family favourite - Vegetable Bake Ingredients: Potatoes Sweet Potatoes ... Pumpkin Zucchini Capsicum Onions Garlic Cream or coconut cream *optional Ham or bacon *optional Pilly Cheese and/or Tasty Cheese*optional Black olives *optional Directions: peal, chop & throw all vegetables in a baking dish, optional to add cream, cheese & ham on top. You can cover with a lid or place alfoil on top for 30mins & then take off to brown top 30mins fan forced oven 180 or 200 non-fan forced. If you have time, cook on a lower temperature for 1.5/2hours.
