10.01.2022 Hey guys- thanks so much for your incredible involvement in Table Talk over the past 4 weeks- I hope you learnt a lot and that it was a fun way to practice your English! The church that runs Table Talk (City Alliance Church) has some events coming up that you might be interested in which I mentioned in the last Table Talk session. This Sunday (25th August) there is a free dinner at 5pm at the same venue as Table Talk. Feel free to come along and chat with us and share a meal.... On the 31st August and 7th September the City Alliance Church is hosting two picnics at Black Mountain Peninsula from 11am to 2pm. There will be lots of games, food and a time of prayer (which you can opt out of if you are not comfortable). Please bring a plate of food to share and a chair/rug. There will be BBQS as well so please bring meat to cook if you want! Please pop me a message if you want to attend any of these events and particularly if you need a lift to the picnic. Both of these events will be great opportunities to keep practising your English and to be part of an English- speaking community.
